Stopped in the Watching location and was VERY disappointed with my experience. On one of the busiest day of the year 12/26, the employee was more concerned about organizing and straightening out the Christmas 50% off section that she barely took time to assist when I asked for assistance. I needed a price on an item, round ottoman. She looked at the store coding and told me $50 and immediately went back to her organization and straightening. I continued to shop and proceeded to the register to purchase the $50 ottoman. When the cashier, who was very pleasant, input the SAME code the previous employee quoted $50, my total was $85. Puzzled I explained to the cashier my experience & earlier conversation. She says no its $85. I go back to the women in the Holiday and share with her that I was told differently at the register. Oh really, she walked back to the register with me looked at the code again and then stated, OH i read it backwards, it’s $80 with tax $85. I then respond because now I’m annoyed, can I see a manager? Employee response I’m the manager 🤔😳! At which moment she says to another employee behind the register she requested the price device to NOW tag the ottoman! I turn away VERY disappointed with the customer experience and disappointed in the manner the manager handled this situation. It was the manager’s misquoting the price after I asked her specifically for the price on an item that was NOT priced!! MY TIP TO THIS MANAGER, DON’T sacrifice Customer Experience because you didn’t have time to probably support a customer that was seeking assistance!! I pray your employee don’t reflect your leadership......

Store has wonderful finds !!! 1st cashier was helpful 2 left much to be desired 3 was No better 4th Was the same cashier from my 1st visit she was great!!! If you're looking for a friendly accommodating staff Not So Much !!! LET ME BE CLEAR THE THERE ARE A FEW GREAT STAFF MEMBERS THE GENTLEMAN WHO HELPS LOAD THE CARS 4 STARS!! SMALLER WOMEN WHO WORKS ON THE FLOOR WITH A HUGE SMILE 4 STARS!! AND OF COURSE THE (1)WONDERFUL CASHIER! ((NOW ON TO MANAGEMENT )) This is where the 1 star review comes in 1st Manger a Women She spoke to you as if she hated her job quick uninformative would not recommend she ever work with the public NO STARS 2nd Manager Male Would rather be at the gym than have a job, both managers must have been trained in the same way, He clearly did not want to assist anyone . I have been in management for several years and if this was a store I was the district Manager of we would have a retraining process focusing on Customer Service/Relations. this poor service is reflected in some of the staff members. To Sum it up !! Great finds a few kind staff members !!! but GOOD LUCK if you ever need help...

Clearance items were scattered randomly throughout the store, the throw pillow selections were literally thrown on the floor blocking the floor to walk down the aisle, I spent at least 5 minutes putting large cashmere pillows on the empty spot on the top shelf (I'm 5'2") during this time 2 if not 3 employees past by me on either end of the row I was in, and I'm sorry, but even if I had been the one who pulled the pillows down( which I am not ),as an employee, you could at least ask me if I needed assistance as you see me attempting to get these huge pillows 1/2 the size of myself, back on top shelf, and clearly struggling in doing so without potentially over throwing them and risking them going over and breaking something on the other side. Also their rug selection was not worth making the trip over there in the 1st place..... I get that these things are not make or break events, nor should blame be placed entirely or isolated to this particular HomeSense, but I have also worked in retail, and they could up their game, especially when times are hard.
