We arrived around 8 pm, the restaurant was fairly empty but we were seated right behind the one group of people at the bar, close enough that their chairs hit the table every time the stood up (even though there were many open tables away from there). The table had crumbs on it when we arrived. Our server was also the bartender, he was very prompt and kind, just overworked. It took 45ish minutes to get our two meals when there were maybe 5 tables in the restaurant. All of this was annoying but understandable with short staff. The real issue was the food wasn’t good. We ordered the original chicken crispers- the image from the menu (the one with the corn) shows them as decent sized tenders with plenty of breading. The other image is what we got. They were tiny (probably the size of fajita meat), had practically no breading, and were too dry/tough/overcooked to eat. When the food was brought out and the waiter (not the server who originally served us) asked if everything was okay we said the chicken crispers were not right and she said ‘so everything’s okay then?’ And left. We complained to our original server and he offered to get an order of crispy chicken strips. That wasn’t what we wanted but there really wasn’t any other option. The manager (?) brought out a tray with both kinds of chicken strips and condescendingly explained the difference (she got down on a knee next to the table like we were kindergartners she needed to CCD all down or something). I know that she may not have intended to be rude but she still came across that way. The chicken crispers were slightly better, at least almost crispy and not as dry, but still not right. The point of all of this is that they aren’t making the food correctly (food that at other chili’s restaurants is like the picture in the menu), we gave them a chance to fix it and some of the staff was...
Read moreMy husband and I used to really like eating at Chili's but our experience yesterday was horrible. First we waited for a booth for 20 minutes when we could see there were empty ones and I asked about them and the hostess said she was waiting for them to be cleaned. When we were finally seated it was at one of the booths we seen that was empty and cleaned. We waited over another 15-20 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. When she finally came to our table she said she was sorry but wasn't told by the hostess that we were at her table. She was kind enough to comp our drinks and appetizer. When we got our food it was gross. The fries , the chips and the chicken crispers all tasted like they were fried in very old nasty oil it was disgusting and later when we got home we both had upset stomachs even though we didn't finish our meals because they were not eatable. We didn't bother saying anything because it seemed like no one there cared about the customers anyway. We will not go to Chili's again and we will be telling all of our friends and family and our own customers that come to our business if they ask about places to eat in the area. The condition of the building inside and out was terrible. Broken awnings, pieces of awnings on the ground and a light pole was knocked over and laying in the parking lot. The inside wasn't as clean as it had been in the past. You can clearly see that whoever is running and managing Chili's in Scottsbluff Nebraska doesn't care about anything going on there from the service to the food to how the place looks or about cleanliness. It's very sad it has...
Read moreFood was a bit pricey but good. Service was decent. I was thankful that they were open late (until 11pm), as I was working until after 10 and hadn't had dinner yet. I got beef nachos as an appetizer. I was hungry and expecting a plate full of nachos. I was quite disappointed in the amount of food on the plate. It was just a circle of tortilla chips (only about 10 chips) with toppings and mostly lettuce with some sour cream and a little salsa in the middle of the plate to make it appear as a full plate (see picture). I was very hungry and thought it was a bit deceptive and not worth the price ($8.25) However, the quality and taste was very good and may make up for the lack of quantity to some people. I personally think that the price should be a few $ less for what you get. I ordered the Ultimate Bbq platter (pick 3 bbq items for $16.99) for my entree with Dry Rubbed Ribs, Bbq Ribs, and Crispy Chicken Strips. After my disappointment with the nachos I was too hungry to take pictures. While the chicken was good (and not dry), I quickly wished I had gotten another 1/2 rack of ribs instead. The ribs were great. The corn that comes with the platter was also great. I was satisfied with the quantity. I only drank water and my total bill was $33 and some change (before the tip). I added a decent tip and left. I didn't realize until the next day that it didn't add up. They may have added extra because I picked 2 ribs out of my "pick any 3". If that was the case I should have been told, but instead now I feel burnt. Other than the pricing, the food and service...
