Ordered take out and got home and they forgot a dinner we paid for, which the dish that was missing isn’t cheap. We live 20 miles away and it was frustrating having to go back to get the food we paid for.
I arrived at the restaurant, and I’m not the type of person to be upset or ask for anything extra. But having to make an extra trip into town for their mistake and with the price of gas, I asked if I could get a meal coupon or something to use at a later date.
The teenager at the counter says “no but I can give you an extra order of crab rangoons”. I didn’t want extra food, just I accepted the offer because I guess this was the only compensation I was going to get. The teenager comes out with rice, egg rolls, egg drop soup, crab rangoons, WAY TOO MUCH food I didn’t need.
It was a bit moronic because the amount of extra food they gave me exceeded the price of a meal I could get at a later date.
Poor customer service. Having worked in customer service, what I was asking was not out of line. It’s taking care of a regular customer when they screwed up.
I understand mistakes happen, and I usually check to make sure everything is there before I leave, but I didn’t tonight,...
Read moreI'm being generous with three stars ONLY because their sushi chef does a decent job. I've been eating sushi a long time and this was neither the best or worst I've had.
What was lacking was the service. There were only three people in the restaurant and while my date was served about 10 minutes in, my sushi didn't get done until about 25 minutes in. My date's meal came with fried rice, and in that rice was bologna... I'll let that sink in. Their sushi menu is rather diverse and it's a common practice when ordering a variety that the serving will identify what is what so you are aware. This wasn't the case here so I went on an adventure trying to figure out what was what.
The restaurant is too complex and needs their menu and dining area simplified. Too much seating when it appears unused. The menu needs attending as well. Too many items spanning too many cuisines indicates the cooks don't prepare anything fresh, which explains bologna rice...
I'd love to come back if they make...
Read moreAlways a great place to get a bite to eat. Customer service is great. Buyer gets a bunch of quality food for their dollar even if it's a higher price than other similar restaurants in the area. Food is always hot and cooked to perfection. Its atmosphere is decent. Mostly clean when I've been to this restuarant. Once it was pretty dirty. A good variety to choose from off the menu. I will warn you that the soft drinks are pricey and would recommend to stick with water and hot tea. Another tip I've acquired from my brother was to eat here mostly at lunch time everything is overall better including the price and the quality of food. But, that's just kind of on a side note. This is just one of those wholesome restaurants that the majority of people will come back for more delicious Chinese dish! I recommend pretty much everything I've tried here but if your unsure you can't go wrong with the orange chicken or one of the special deal plates. Truly a legendary...
