We have 6 kids and like to take them out to eat a couple times a month. Usually to restaurants of different cultural or regional foods. I like BBQ. So on Mother's day, wanting to avoid reservations and wait times, I chose Dickey's. Not our typical dine-in family dinner, as it leans more towards a fast food atmosphere without the drive-thru, but that didn't hinder the quality of food or service we received. Perhaps, the two workers were able to be even more accommodating because it was a slower day? Either way, I was excited I didn't have to dress any of the kids up (ages 2-16 do well in this establishment) and I was even more pleased with the cost. Typically, for a BBQ dine-in we will easily spend $225. We ordered the XL Pack (3meat, 4 side, toasts, etc $85), 2 giant bakers with meat and 8 yellow cups for $145.53! The cook seemed happy to serve up such a big order and he was prepared as ever, getting out hot, delicious BBQ in a matter of minutes. The Okra was gone in . 5 seconds flat so we ordered a few more sides shortly after but we did have enough to take home about a pound of meat and a half a potato! The best part was that we didn't sacrifice wait service that day. The cashier (Gaurav, I think. Which suits him.) was so sweet and waited on us like a real restaurant server for Mother's Day. He brought us our food with extra pickles and onions, ensured the paper towels were stocked, and asked if we needed anything else. He made the pecan pie just too tempting, so as the kids were piling in the van, I went back in and bought a piece for later. My son said it was the best midnight snack he's ever swiped out of the fridge. I'll have to go back and try a slice some other time. My husband works in the area, so he is definitely coming back. Especially since his next 3 or 4 meals are free because of the rewards points we earned. All in all, 10/10. We don't always have to do formal dining and we...

Excited for some BBQ, so placed an order online for pickup. Said it would be ready at 6:56. We arrived right on time and didn’t have to wait at all. A very nice employee brought it right out to the car within a minute. On the 3 minute drive home, we commented on the blissful aroma filling the car and got even more hungry for some amazing food. Arrived home and began to open the containers of food. We got two meats, sliced brisket and pulled pork. The brisket didn’t have the normal smoke ring, or crusted outside. It was burnt, incredibly dry, and impossible to pick up, as it just fell apart. WAY overcooked. Brisket is my favorited BBQ, and honestly was very upset about it. Moving on, I decided to not dwell on the brisket, because we still had pulled pork. Same issue. Dry. Overcooked. Just not appealing. I tried to fight through the brisket and pulled pork and force them down my throat, but I gave up after a few bites. Couldn’t even chew it. I will say the Mac & Cheese was pretty good, as well as the BBQ baked beans. The cookies are pretty tiny for $3.30, but oh well. I normally wouldn’t have left a review like this, but here we are 35 minutes after picking up the order and it’s still marked as “ready for pickup” online, so I can’t even attempt to handle it through other channels. Very disappointed in our food, and will not go here again. I now have 2 pounds of meat that’s inedible. Truly thought I’d get better quality food for just south of $60.

UPDATE: They replied, and I emailed. They asked if my email address was the one they should communicate with. I said yes, and they’ve never been heard from again. I even emailed them and asked if I was ever going to hear from them again. Crickets. What a poorly run reputation...

Do not go here! I repeat do not go here! This place is a joke, we loved the old dickeys off of Scottsdale road and where very sad when it shut down. But this place is a disgrace. I ordered the westerner like I would normally get with coleslaw on it but they informed me the don't have coleslaw as well as a deep fryer so they can't even make fries!!! When I got the sandwich hone and unwrapped it I was surprised to see almost no meat on the sandwich! It use to come loaded with meat but this was Abbott a bite size portion of meat spread out on a bun! What a joke and a horrible experience, who ever is running this needs to be held accountable by Dickeys corporate office! It was honestly the worse experience at a bbq restaurant, quite possibly my worse experience at any restaurant! I'll say it one more time, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

This was my first visit to this BBQ chain. We dropped in on a late Sunday afternoon, so not a prime meal time. This location is pretty small, only a handful of tables. It's counter order service. When our order was ready, it was carried out to us. Very pleasant staff. We opted for two brisket and sausage orders, with various sides. Unfortunately, most all of the food in our order was barely above room temperature. While the brisket was as tender as I've ever had it, the cooler temperature meat was less enjoyable - especially for the sausages. Not sure if our timing was bad, perhaps peak dinner hour would have been better. However, that shouldn't matter. The prices seemed reasonable, especially for families. Perhaps a take-out order taken home for reheat would be a better option.

Overpriced for “chain” style bbq. I ordered 1lb of brisket and it was all fat and a large side of Mac n cheese my total was $38. When I called to let them know I was barely able to make 3 small sandwiches they told me the brisket was sent like that in an attempt to give the customer more fat and less meat. They offered to give me a half a pound. When I went back to get it the lady working seemed like I was inconveniencing her when I told her how my original order came. I asked for lean and was told they don’t have it but she would cut the fat, she also explained how that was now WASTING her brisket. A good quality brisket does have fat however it shouldn’t contain that much to where over 60% is fat. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning. I’ll go to a competitor instead
