One of my Stone Care of Arizona’s customer told me if I like bagels to go to JJ’s. They make the BEST bagels in town!
Unbeknownst to my customer I am a bagel aficionado! I LOVE a hot Bagel with my coffee!
For the next two days, I drove around looking for it and finally searched google maps and found it!
It’s tucked away on the corner of Pinnacle Peak and Scottsdale road, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
I was “Shocked” it was bustling Deli with sitting inside and on the patio.
It was not a secret because less than a 100 people were eating and placing an orders! There were no open seats and there was a line to the door!!
My mouth salivated, this must really be a good place!
I was meet at the counter by a young man who welcomed me and asked me my name.
I ordered food and told the young man I would return the next day when there was less people.
The next day, the young man actually remembered my name, “Hi Michael, how was the food?”
I took time to asked his name
“My name is Oscar” (pictured on the left) with a big grin on his face!
Me: “I loved the food!”
Today, I ordered an everything bagel with almond & honey smear it was YUMMY!
The employee in the picture on the right is a Freddie who got my order and collected funds. His hat hid his beautiful smile!
But you could see he liked helping me and others.
Overall, I would like to share 4 high points about my 2 visits
Nice curve appeal where the sitting is conducive for eating, pickup and/or a place to chat with a friend or family member
JJ’s has a nice decor’ that invites you to their display counters filled will fresh foods that says choose me! You can almost hear their voices lol
JJ’s employees “care about you!” They are in tuned to your needs and will adapt to the selection and will provide great feedback if you need help!
My customer was spot on about their bagels being the best. They are far better than the competition across the street! JJ’s offer a wider range of food selection that Scottsdale expects
In conclusion, J J’ Deli and Cuisine does not disappoint on any level they get 5 stars for their over the top customer service and world class food offering
J J you rock!
See you Tomorrow as I plan to surf your menus for...
Read moreJJ’s was recommended to me, and I came here to see just how good they are. I started with the matzo ball soup, and enjoyed it very much. Hot, fresh, and enough matzo with every spoonful of soup. The broth was delicious. I could have gone for a bigger bowl, and more vegetables. The sandwich I ordered was the Reuben ~ pastrami (hot) on marble rye. It was fine. If I order it next time I’ll ask to hold the mustard, and ask for more cheese. The thousand island dressing was okay. No big flavors. The sandwich came with creamy coleslaw that was pretty good; and yet it had a strange or peculiar taste. I can’t place my finger on it. It will come to mind. The bathroom is very clean. The deli is somewhat small, offers seating outside, and is in an obscure part of the mall. My only complaint is that a fly harassed me for a good amount of time. Freddie was helpful with my order. I’ll return, but only when I’m in the area. It’s a bit pricey, but worth...
Read moreFirst time ever I have felt compelled to write a review. Went to JJ's the day before the Super Bowl. Wanted to order a deli tray. Owner, Roger told us that they were slammed and they really were not taking anymore orders and that we were late to the game. Then he said, "But I cannot turn you down!" He sat down with us and patiently asked questions about what we needed and helped us order for our group. I cant tell you how much I appreciate a place that is willing to go above and beyond. Told me to come back before 9am the next day and he would have everything ready. The next day it was all ready and they walked multiple platters out to the car and could not have been nicer. We ordered for 12 people but had enough for over 20. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the cold cuts, bread, potato salad and really good cole slaw. Thanks to JJ for helping with our impromptu SB...
