Playa Bar — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Stopped by here at 7am on a Sunday to ask for jumper cables to jump my scooter battery. There weren't any so me and my dog ended up staying while we waited for my mom. The staff was nice they gave him water and a slimjim and a patron shared their chips with him. He had a great time and everyone loved his Dallas cowboy jersey. I normally wouldn't drink on a Sunday, but this (I'm almost sure of it) would definitely be a bar our lord would unwind in. An over indulged couple arguing about which wataburger is the best, while a man in a ICP shirt sings louder than the jukebox speakers to the the tune of John Legends All Of Me. The nearly packed bar seemed to enjoy it and even joined it at some parts, even waking up the tired and filling them with inspiration; a là church if you will. This unexpected yet familiar place nearly made me forget it was only 7am on a Sunday and me and my dog still needed to drive my scooter home. If you’re looking for a decent dive bar keep driving. From security whos more worried about playing pool to the bartender with a short man complex it’s just not worth the money. The bartender is more worried about hitting on women instead of serving. Just a bar on the outskirts of Scottsdale that’s trying to give you the same vibe as oldtown but without the fun. Was with my gf but the owner clearly doesn’t mind there own. They do whatever they want. Trash brings trash and totally understandable. Had a stabbing there too be careful. Was thinking about stopping in to check this place out and that idea vacated my head after sitting in the parking lot for less than 5 minutes. 2 meth addict looking guys came out of the bar at 1130am on a Friday and one of them walks up to my vehicle, opens my door, and asks my name(he is lucky I didn't pull my gun).
