On July 3, I gave Chipotle another try after having previous bad experiences with portion sizes. I ordered my typical chicken bowl, salad bowl for my wife(barely any chicken ) and queso w/ chips. When I arrived home noticed the queso was not in the bag, I called the location and was told I can receive a queso w/ chips and let the employees know and they would honor it. I made sure the employee knew I was not coming in that day because of the drive he said it will be perfectly fine just stop by and it will be honored. At 10:45 am on July 5, I went back to chipotle to get the queso/ chips that I had paid for, I proceeded to the register and I let cashier know that the queso was not put in my bag the other day and I called and was told I could receive another queso/ chips because of the mistake. The employee says we were closed yesterday and I rebutted the other day means the other day you were opened. He begins to laugh and ask another employee were we open yesterday and she replies in a smug attitude and no. He begins make a mockery asking a multitude of questions attempting to embarrass me. I told him you know what I’m not here to be interrogated for a mistake that you guys made but I will be contacting management on how you all handled the situation. This was uncalled for and disrespectful especially when this is an item that I paid for and received no...
Read moreI’m an avid Chipotle eater. I eat at Chipotle two to three times per week, mainly in Chandler. But occasionally, I end my day on the Scottsdale side of things, and I go to this location. It has always been a horrible experience. I’ve eaten here about five times, and each time there has been something I don’t like.
One time, I pulled up to the pickup window and they asked me, “How can I help you?” which might seem fine in some situations. But it’s a drive-thru window that only exists for picking up orders. They never ask for my name to locate the order. It’s like they’re shocked I’m even there.
They’ve messed up my order multiple times. I despise avocado and sour cream, yet I’ve received meals with both. Sometimes, they’ve handed me someone else’s order entirely.
Today, I paid for the Premium Lemonade and they gave me a watered-down fountain drink instead. This location is just not on par with other Chipotles. I’ve been to many throughout the Valley, and this one is consistently bad. The location is convenient, but the experience is terrible. As you can see, I’m not the only one saying this. Plenty of others have left...
Read moreI came to the new location with my kid and asked about kid's meals, my kid, who was present, asked for the kids meal tacos. I asked twice if she was getting the kids meal and was reassured. I ordered a salad bowl. They charged me for two adult meals. There was no one there as it's 2pm and the cashier could hear me ask the server. After I paid, I noticed it was way more than a bowl, guacamole and a kids meal, so I asked about the charge and the cashier said it was a mistake, that what the server gave me was an adult taco meal (mind you it was meat, beans and cheese only bc it was what my kid wanted), so now I KNOW for next time. Don't waste your time and money. This is day 2 service. There are tacos down the street at Fiesta Burrito, there is a taco place across the street, there are tacos at Carnicería Cuernavaca and Tacos Jalisco. What a let down for a...
