Just flew in to Sky Harbor and wanted to try some good buffalo wings while in Phx, before driving to Tucson. We were not disappointed. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauces were on point (we had four different flavors: mango habanero, korean bbq, buffalo, and garlic parmesan). My favorite was the Buffalo wing sauce and my wife loved the mango habanero. **We actually also got to try Don's sauce (off their secret menu) and it was solid, if you get the chance try it (it tasted like a sweet heat BBQ sauce with a hint of mustard). They were easily some of the best wings I've had. Next time we go to Phoenix we'll go out of our way to stop by here again. Also, found out the restaurant is locally owned and the family that runs it provided great service and hospitality.
Only criticism - we ordered a side of fries for my 5 year old and they were kind of uninspired. Crinkly cut style with a lot of salt; they seem like the kind of fries you buy frozen. Not a big deal, I didn't go there for the fries. All in all this place is awesome and I definitely recommend checking them out if you enjoy...
Read moreTo the people of Scottsdale Arizona,. I have been in this state of Arizona for a year and 10 months. I have been to several different places to have dine in and take outs. Valley wings is the first time I've actually enjoyed the atmosphere and camaraderie and a personal that works there. They are a friendly warm and congenial people. I was impressed about the idea that I can be able to drink a cold beer which was a Corona, my favorite beer. I have been in other restaurants that serve beverages, alcohol. This was the first time I've actually had a frosty cold beer without having them to put it back in the refrigerator to have it cold to my expectation. That is what impress me and knowing that I could come to a place and get good service, food, friendly conversation while I'm enjoying my favorite beer. Therefore I would like you the people of Scottsdale to venture to Valley Wings and try their wings. Seeing that I am not a native of Scottsdale, believe me you have to try it out for yourself the experience. That is my...
Read moreI knowwww these pictures look like some fire a*s wings. Unfortunately they did NOT live up to the hype. I'm actually really confused, maybe we got them on a bad day? My husband stopped in on Friday after work to grab us some wings, as soon as they came out we sat in the car opened they up and excited to try them but the mustard smell from the first pic was over powering, the lemon pepper and teriyaki were VERY mediocre. The lemon pepper season really didn't have any flavor until your last few chews more like an after taste. The teriyaki wings had a very odd taste it wasn't like it was a teriyaki. I understand everywhere teriyaki is different but this was like it was sour. Long story cut short we didn't even finish them. We tried taking it home to spicy it up throw some more seasoning or something on. But that didn't work. Unfortunately it was definitely a...
