Subway — Restaurant in Scottsdale

I don't understand what happened here today.

After I had received my sandwich and had started eating a customer came in and asked for a 6" on Italian herb and cheese bread. The employee took out a half loaf and started to make the sandwich when the customer asked how fresh the bread was and if it was soft. The employee said it wasn't very old and proceeded to hand the bread to the customer to feel it, I assume in an attempt to show them how soft it was. The customer, I assume, didn't like the feel of the bread so the employee put it back in the bread warmer. The bread the customer had just touched and deemed to not be soft enough was put back to be served to another guest. I don't have any idea where this customers hands had been and I don't want to know.

I didn't finish my sandwich and won't be back for...

Normally this place has some good team members but yesterday the punk that served me didn't smile, greet me, or offer any type of appreciation for my business. At all. Piss-poor attitude to put it mildly; came across like someone had just broken his gaming controller. Would have wiped the smirk right off his face but there was no used toilet paper nearby.

Maybe he was offended because I was staring at what looked like calamari dangling from his ears? Finally realized those were his earlobes without his gauges! Lost my appetite after processing that.

Owner needs to send this one back into the wild or at least see if his probation officer can line up a different...

So my daughter and I had spent the whole day running around and all she wanted was a prezel but they were out so she asked for pizza of that too. Everyone was out shopping for school supplies so the guys saw how bummed she was and offered to make her a pizza sandwich and she was so excited. She said it was good and was happy it totally made her day and that is all that matters thanks...
