First "ICED" tea came out with two ice cubes. Hot water wasn't hot enough to make "hot" tea. Had to ask twice for two straws & lemons for our waters. And had to ask and then remind him to bring sugar! Ordered 2 individual 9" pizzas..... took 35 minutes! When they finally arrived they were definitely not fresh out of the oven! Only just warm. Been sitting out too long. Sean the bartender/server asked if we wanted parmesan cheese and/or red pepper flakes..... my friend said yes to both. Half way through her pizza I waved him over to remind him. He saw her empty glass and said he would refill it. However, the two ladies on the next table asked him if he was indeed "Vito" ...... he said no, but continued to stand there and chat with them for another 5/6 minutes! I flagged the hostess over and she refilled it. My friend placed her credit card on the table when we had finished ..... And there it sat. Finally he came over to see if we needed anything. She pointed to the card and he picked it up and walked behind the bar with it. Leaving all dirty plates on the table. The other table had already asked for their check 10 minutes earlier. We all sat there for another 10 minutes while he chatted with 2 ladies at the bar.
I eventually got up and walked over to the bar and asked for the check to sign and reminded him that the other ladies were waiting on their check. He saw me and grabbed a check and ran the credit card. When he passed over to me ...... It was for $54! I said ... I don't think 2 9" pizzas and 2 teas are $54. YUP .... You guessed it..... He ran the card on THEIR check!!!š³š
I went back to my seat to wait and he eventually brought both checks to both tables ...... STILL WRONG!!! OMG!
He collected both check books and went back behind the bar to correct his mistake.
When he came back, I asked if he had the copy of the void check ..... His response? ......
YES! ..... I knew you would ask, so I saved it. ........ And then walked all the way back to the bar to retrieve it!!š³š³
This was a complete "Comedy of Errors" and totally unacceptable, not to mention 1.5 hrs of our life we can never get backš
Definitely NOT going...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited this place this past Wednesday night. It was a bit busy, but not so much that we had to wait to be seated. Waitress took our order. I ordered a glass of the Pinot Noir. One kid with me ordered the spaghetti and butter sauce. We also tried the lasagna with meat sauce and Eggplant Parmesan. After we ordered we received a small bread basket with butter. The food was ok. The prices are just too high for the quality. Frankly, Olive Garden is better. Vito's doesn't have any ravioli dishes on the menu either, even though the online menu depicts "Toasted Ravioli" as an appetizer. And yes, we asked. We were told they just changed ownership. That should be fixed. The tiramisu and warm cookie dessert were pretty good. The wine never came. That was a big disappointment. Common, wine is good for business ! When I got my bill and was charged for the wine, I pointed it out to the waitress. She said "oh, you didn't?" then went back and returned with another bill with the wine charge removed. No apology, no more words. I wasnāt going to make a fuss but I did expect an apology. Unless I have a very compelling reason I will choose another Italian restaurant to dine at. It is overpriced, but more importantly I didnāt get a feeling the waitress really cared about our table. No greetings, pleasantries or anything comforting. I felt like I was at a roadside diner. I had originally given this 2 stars, but after careful consideration, changing it to one star. For the simple reason that I paid for all of this. I paid for the ambiance, the pleasantries that should come with it, the food and the entire dining experience. Unfortunately, it just...

When exploring food let your imagination run wild and find Chefs that are willing to go along for the ride to assist you in discovering the taste your mind is seeking. After visiting several stops in the Scottsdale/ Phoenix area in search of recreating our famous Seafood Pizza, we started this day out with a brief call to the restaurant to inquire if they had any white sauce pizzas! After a short moment of being on hold to check with the kitchen the soft female voice confirmed "Yes we can do an Alfredo sauce". This was all we needed to hear and set our GPS to guide us to the location. Entering the seating area on the patio I could only imagine the cool desert nights and the large brick center piece fireplace throwing off heat while enjoying a good glass of wine. I was already taking a liking to the place. When the server arrived we informed her we would be make additions to their traditional Funghi E Formaggio by changing the traditiona tomato sauce to a white Alfredo suace along with the sauteed mushrooms, mozzarella, provolone, ricotta. We continued with our addition by requesting shrimp, scallops and calamari be added. We finalized the request by asking if the crust could be cooked til crunchy and if we could have olive oil infused with herds, red pepper flakes and parmesan. The server accommodate our every request and delivered an award winning pie to our table. We also took the liberty of outfitting a red sauce...
