Over Easy — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Fabulous food cooked with care. If you’re in the Scottsdale, AZ area, you must give Over Easy a try.

I had the Southwest Omelet with a side of perfectly cooked hash browns. The omelet was made with shredded chicken, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, sour cream, fresh sliced avocado and succulent spices that just got more delicious with every bite!

Hubby had the Mile high omelet with ham, cheddar cheese, onions, red & green bell peppers and because he’s extra, he added spinach. He said it was very good.

Because I’m extra I had to taste the corned beef hash and no, it didn’t disappoint. Bryan the co-owner recommended it as it is actually freshly shredded corned beef with potatoes. Nothing canned here! (Thank you Bryan for the recommendations!)

For drinks, hubby had the fresh squeezed orange juice made with navel oranges and I had the strawberry and watermelon lemonade. They were perfect additions to our delicious meal.

The protein pancakes were excellent. The maple syrup was wonderful compared to imitation syrup served in most restaurants.

I enjoyed the poached eggs, too. I ordered the black pepper grits. They were served cold. The grits were not good. It was if they were cooked a long time ago. The grits were more on the creamy side. I would not order the grits again.

My friend ordered the Mile High Omelet. It was excellent and the portion was good. The hash browns had a funny taste. We would not order that item again.

Alex, our server did a fantastic job. The other server helped out, too if he walked by and noticed a finished plate or offered a refill on our beverages. The servers excelled in teamwork.

We were greeted immediately upon entering, and when we left, Alex said good bye. A super nice welcoming feature.

The only thing different I would like to see added was offering real half and half. The server only offered the half and half that was radiated. It just isn't the same.

I am beyond in love with this place honestly! Some of the best food I have had in a long time. Visiting Arizona and I had a chance to eat at this gem and I was not disappointed. I originally was going to first watch, but the address directed me to this location as it was previously a First Watch. Ha! If this happens to you, please just go with the flow I won't steer you wrong. So me and my friend started with the mimosas flights ( everyone should start with that) they was amazing. You get a choice of different flavors. I choose blood orange pama, strawberry rosemary, the og and The draft champage. I followed it up with lemon ricotta pancakes and breakfasts burrito ( I made my own). Everything was amazing as I got up from my table and expressed to the manger Chris that you guys are all doing a good job. Molly provided excellent service so tip her well if you are lucky to get her. Totally for two ppl was $66 plus tip and every penny was worth it.
