Taco Bell — Restaurant in Scottsdale

It's a typical Taco Bell.

However, the box of Soft Tacos (Soft Taco Party Pack?) we ordered for approximately $20.00 were absolutely horrendous!

We drove directly home, which is about a five minute drive, and started eating. The Soft Taco's tasted like they had been sitting out unrefrigerated for three, or four, days.

The flour wraps were hard, and stale tasting. The meat, lettuce, and cheese filling tasted horrible, even with the two packets of sauce we put on the filling in each one. The meat had definitely gone bad, we didn't even feed it to the dog. The lettuce was also wilted as if it had been left unrefrigerated in the heat for a couple of days.

My son, and i, took one bite of our Taco, spit it out in the garbage, and threw out Taco's in the trash. I put the remaining tacos in the fridge, and planned to return them later in the day, or the next day. However, I completely forgot about them for three, or four days, and ended up throwing the remaining ten Soft Taco's into the dumpster..

To be fair to Taco Bell, I have been ordering the "Party Packs of Soft Taco's" for well over ten years, and possibly as long as twenty year's. I first started buying them in Oregon, and for the last eight year's at this location.

Prior to this event we have always received fresh Taco's. Spoiled food at this location is extremely unusual. However, what really bother's me is not only having to throw out just over $20.00 worth of food, but then having to jump back in the car, and find something...

I know it’s Taco Bell. You get what you pay for. But lately we’ve been paying too much here. We go to Taco Bell about once every two weeks. This is the fast food I grab for the family if we need dinner and kids have activities that night. A quick meal and we actually like it. My kids love ordering a side of Mexican rice with their food. I remember when they used to fill the cup. These days we are lucky if half the container is full. The amount they put in there is appalling and definitely not worth paying for. I’m usually good at checking before I leave with the order, but today hubby picked it up. And of course didn’t check. We had 3 orders of Mexican rice that I could fit into 1 rice container. They also stacked the 7-layers and burritos on top of the Mexican pizza, which I hate for obvious reasons. It crushes the pizza and the toppings end up stuck to the roof of the container. So, not a great...

This location is a bad egg. They continue to mess up orders regardless of whether they're ordered in person or online. Today's example, online order missing all the soft tacos ordered and paid. They also have horrible customer service. I went inside to order a side of guacamole I forgot--before I discovered the missing items--and was first ignored, then scolded for not using the kiosk, and finally made to wait while they made drive-thru orders. This is only today's examples. As this is the location nearest my home, I frequent it more than some of the better ones in my area. (Shout out to the Talking Stick location, you always get it right!!) I could sadly give many more examples of this store's crappy ways. Saw in reviews they have new management. From the dead-eyes look and demeaner of the employees, they don't seem to be any happier nor has the customer experience...
