Downtown Cosgrove's — Restaurant in Scranton

I've ordered from this restaurant on more than one occasion. Doing so gave me punches on their loyalty card which they DO NOT even honor. I ordered "The Hill" (a chicken salad sandwich artisan style with cheese). The menu listed price is $13 and I had a loyalty card with a 15% punch. However, after purchasing for $13.60 (didn't honor my 15% discount), I open the box to see no cheese added despite the box being marked as such. See photos for verification!

The food is good, but the prices and service is not worth your effort. If you're looking for a similar, but better menu I'd recommend Mansours or anywhere else. It was my first time trying Dowtown Cosgrove, and I figured I ordered special, which was a grilled chesse sandwich and a tomato soup to go. When I arrived back to work to eat lunch, I noticed that the soup was not even halfway full. So I figured I would go back and let them know that I was given less than half of the container. The lady at the front told me it was correct that it looked less because the container was big and then smiled and spoke with her colleague appalled. I didn’t imagine I could have such a wholesome, caring dining experience inside of the steam town mall but this restaurant is worth the trip to the mall all on its own. The Chef Steph was so warm and considerate of our unique needs at the table and she made it an exceptional experience with food, service and dining in. The server didnt rush us, helped us select our food and was quick to refill. We stayed for over an hour and if you haven’t tried Downtown Cosgroves yet - you should!
