GoodFellas Pizza — Restaurant in Scranton

I have never taken the time to complain about any business as I worked food service before and try to be understanding but I felt compelled to write this because I have never been so dissatisfied with the service I received. My family and I have ordered from Goodfellas for roughly the last 3 years and nothing other then an occasional mishap took place up until our order today. The man on the phone was extremely rude and made me feel as though I was inconveniencing him to take my order and I certainly put him over the edge when I asked to pay with my card and he had to type the numbers in. I asked for the 4 piece fried chicken meal with fries and was told it did not come with fries even though I was looking at the website while I was talking to him and each chicken item came with fries. I ordered a side of fries thinking maybe they had changed it but when our order came minus my sons pizza I noticed my chicken did indeed come with fries and we had extra fries we did not need as well as a condiment cup of hot sauce they put in with my order spilled all over it all. When we called about the pizza missing from our order instead of apologizing the man blamed the driver and told my husband I was wrong about fries coming with the chicken even though the website stated otherwise and I was looking at my chicken order that did in fact come with fries. I know things happen but after the way we were treated by this staff member after 3 years of loyal patronage we will NEVER...

Ordered two large pizzas 1cheese 1 pep. Came home and ate the first slice and the pizza had a sour taste too it. So sour you could even smell it off the pizza. Came back to get new pizzas, and asked the manager to smell the pizza for her self. I asked for freshly made pizza. They proceeded to get a fully cooked cheese pizza and layered pepperoni on it and threw into the oven again. Lady said that one was mine. That’s not fresh that’s laziness. Asked for a refund politely and the manager said, “maybe you shouldn’t come here again”. The cook also gave me attitude saying “I’m making things up” and “ I could care less about this job”. I told him “I could tell he doesn’t care” and to take the “L” because he messed it up. If the pay is bad I understand, but as a customer, I only wanted a properly made pizza. They had wasted my time and money, something I take seriously. I’m usually nice and laid back but this was unacceptable and hazardous. Wouldn’t feed your kids food from this place. My guess is, they sanitized the surface of the work station and May have contaminated the pizza or Pizza Box. Something was definitely wrong with that pizza and it wasn’t safe to consume for sure. I respect hard working food service but they were straight up lazy and didn’t care to handle the situation well. Cashiers were amazing and was the only one to handle situation well. Happened 11:00am...

Ordered through Grubhub, which maybe led to issues, but they had issues of their own. I ordered on a Sunday at about 11:30 am for it to be delivered to my home for my mother at 5pm (for dinner with her medications). Well I get home at almost 6:30 and find that the food was never delivered. So I call them up and express my displeasure and fairly calmly too. They offer to bring it over ASAP and I said don't worry about it for tonight, just bring it tomorrow for 5pm. So next day comes, 5pm comes and goes, and I have to go down and tell them that my food was yet again not delivered when they told me it would be (after saying that notes would be left for the crew the next day to make sure the food got to me). They made my food in about 15 minutes or so, and while still annoyed I was happy to be on my way with my food finally. Only to get home and find that my sandwich was not what I ordered and while it was close it was just the final slap in the face that was this whole ordeal.

Can't get food delivered on time for orders, blamed it on computer issues that happened after my food should have been delivered and then not getting it to me when they said they would make it up, only to then make the wrong thing.

If I ever decide to get food from here again it won't be for...
