Found this place and was so happy to be able to order some Spanish food!! Being in Pennsylvania, I was super tired of your typical fast food chain restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Etc. It was nice to find this small spot with amazing perfectly seasoned comfort food! The plates are huge! Depending on what you order and how much you eat, 2 people can share. My sister ordered the Mofongo with carne frita (chopped fried pork shoulder). The Mofongo, is a mashed platano (plantain) which i believed they made it with garlic, onions, peppers and other secret ingredients. It came with a super flavorful soup which u can dip the mofongo into to enhance the flavor. The chicharrones were nice and crispy with a soft meat on the inside. Now my plate was tostones (fried plantain) with chicken and beef. To my surprise it came with a whole salad on top of it! So it had lettuce, tomatoes, bacon bits and even what I think is crushed lays chips and the sauce tasted like a Thousand Island sauce. Let's just say the food was so good we bought a bunch more to take home!

I’m from NY so you already know I’m judging food a little bit different. When I first moved here I was a constant customer at international deli and then the food there just started going down so I was scared to try another Spanish spot but I ended up with some promo credit and decided to try it at this place worse case if the food was bad I wouldn’t lose any money. BUT WHEN I TELL YOU THIS IS OFFICIALLY MY NEE SPOT HANDS DOWN!!!!! Best Spanish food in Scranton I ordered the mar y Tierra the steak wasn’t salty it was tender the shrimp popped when you bit into it the sauce was PERFECT I’m talkin this was 5 star restaurant quality food! Incredible!!!!!! Will 100% be going again! And when my friends from NY visit I’ll be sending them here!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could This restaurant will blow you away. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the smiles behind the food counter. Daniela our bilingual server, took time to explain the menu option. We started off with coffee, when the food came out it took me a moment to accept that this food was fit for kings and huge portions. The ambiance was great and service was impeccable, the portion and price were great, and then there's the quality, 15% tip will be added if your bill is over $50 Will definitely be back. My husband doesn't really push reviews but this one he said "you must give them a good review, this food is amazing"

Im giving it a 3 star , we usually take out or go in and choose from the food thats there to choose from . We went on a saturday we were told to get up from our table because it was reserved. The crazy thing was we had our drinks and sat there for 30 mins and then we were told to move because the table was reserved ,after we ordered our food and been sitting there , also the food toke 1 hr for us to receive our food half of my plate was cold , the lady didnt come and check on us , after the long wait , she didnt even come to see if needed our drinks filled ,or needed anything else, once we were done eating she didnt bother to give us the check or anything she seen that we were done(didnt bother to come to the table) then we went to the counter to let her know ,we kept waiting and decide to pay at the counter ,and then only thing she told us was sorry for the inconvenience, service was horrible , (and she was the owner ) never agian , take out is the most pefered method, honestky but the food is ok but worst...

This is authentic right down to the cafeteria style service. The ladies that served us spoke both English and Spanish. Very nice and professional. The atmosphere is saturated with Spanish music, people are enjoying the food, their, family and friends. Everything was clean, but the lunch rush can be challenging to find a table. People who eat there should have a place to deposit their dishes, but this is part of the authenticity, someone will from the staff will clean it eventually. I can almost feel as if I am on vacation visiting Columbia. Food is delicious. If you're vegetarian just order rice and vegetables. Flan, tres leches cake, and other desserts are fresh too. 3 reasons to go here: (1)it's a authentic Latin American experience in culinary art. (2) The food is soul satisfying. (3)The price is readonable and fair. The portions are of such proportion that you will not be hungry when you leave or you can have 2-3 servings depending on how much of an...
