Found this place and was so happy to be able to order some Spanish food!! Being in Pennsylvania, I was super tired of your typical fast food chain restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Etc. It was nice to find this small spot with amazing perfectly seasoned comfort food! The plates are huge! Depending on what you order and how much you eat, 2 people can share. My sister ordered the Mofongo with carne frita (chopped fried pork shoulder). The Mofongo, is a mashed platano (plantain) which i believed they made it with garlic, onions, peppers and other secret ingredients. It came with a super flavorful soup which u can dip the mofongo into to enhance the flavor. The chicharrones were nice and crispy with a soft meat on the inside. Now my plate was tostones (fried plantain) with chicken and beef. To my surprise it came with a whole salad on top of it! So it had lettuce, tomatoes, bacon bits and even what I think is crushed lays chips and the sauce tasted like a Thousand Island sauce.
Let's just say the food was so good we bought a bunch more...

Read moreThis is authentic right down to the cafeteria style service. The ladies that served us spoke both English and Spanish. Very nice and professional. The atmosphere is saturated with Spanish music, people are enjoying the food, their, family and friends. Everything was clean, but the lunch rush can be challenging to find a table. People who eat there should have a place to deposit their dishes, but this is part of the authenticity, someone will from the staff will clean it eventually. I can almost feel as if I am on vacation visiting Columbia. Food is delicious. If you're vegetarian just order rice and vegetables. Flan, tres leches cake, and other desserts are fresh too. 3 reasons to go here: (1)it's a authentic Latin American experience in culinary art. (2) The food is soul satisfying. (3)The price is readonable and fair. The portions are of such proportion that you will not be hungry when you leave or you can have 2-3 servings depending on how much of an...
