Cafe 4109 — Restaurant in Sea Isle City

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been to Sea Isle City a few times this Summer and I always make it a point to stop at Cafe 4109. It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. You are always greeted with a smile. The staff and owners treat you like family. The menu is great, so many delicious sandwiches to choose from. My favorites are the Richard Dryfus and the Rad Cru. If you’re looking for a bomb Chicken Salad Sandwich look no further. The various coffee drinks, milk options, and the different coffee syrups flavors surpass any place I have ever been too. I went to cafe 4109 this morning and ordered two toasted bagels with butter, a bag was placed on the counter by a worker but didn't say anything so we assumed it wasn't ours. After sitting there for another 10 minutes I asked the worker and she checked and let us know they were ours (mind you we were the only 2 customers in there). I took out his bagel, took a bite and realized they weren't toasted. So I brought them back in and let them know and they took them back and toasted them after a bite was already taken out!!! Stopped in for an iced Americano, and it looks like they're using some sort of pod espresso machine. I don't know exactly what but I know for a fact the beans were freshly ground. It looked like the server put a bag in the portafilter.

If it tasted good then I would not be complaining but this is sour and stale tasting. Maybe if you're getting a sweet drink then this is okay, but if you want espresso or espresso based drinks then I'd avoid. I'm very...
