Nana and Poppy's Ice cream Parlor — Restaurant in Sea Isle City

We have eaten here before, but had a bad experience tonight. My husband and I walked in about 10pm, and there were customers inside, but were no signs outside to indicate hours, or if they were open or closed. Upon opening the door and taking 2 steps in, we were rudely told by an employee "Guys, I am technically closed and my staff is cleaning and all my machines are shut down. So if you want something I can school you hard only." It wasn't so much what she said but how she said it. A "sorry guys, we close at 10 so I only have hard ice cream available" would have been more acceptable.
