No matter what you do stay away from this establishment...
The reason I say that is there is a little hand written statement that is in the corner of the counter that say a fee for using your credit cards....
When I asked about this after my order the woman said it's a fee
After asking about this fee I was told it was the credit card fee from all credit cards when I asked how much this fee was the woman told me 1.95 cents
I asked for the receipt the told me that they the women at the counter were told to throw them out not to give to the customer
Now I know that that is not the fee that there being charged from the credit card company... it's usually around 90 cents.. I asked for the manager
I had to wait 15 minutes for him to come from his desk I asked him directly that I'm paying for the charge that you are charged to do business with the credit card company... he said yes
I believe that this company is committing fraud on the customer and my complaint with the state of New Hampshire will be sent next week

As promised I did go to Visa Master Card both of said that this was.legal to do but only a minimum charge.. they agreed that this charge was excessive and they are going to look into it and if they do not change there accounts will be shut off
I have also contacted the IRS and sent a letter to them with regards to the charges I'm told that they are going to go back and look at there returns and wait for this year tax filling ... I'm sure there going to find what I think they have been doing.... I'm waiting for the form to fill out and sign

I have received the paperwork from the IRS signed the documents and after reading this I called the IRS office and I asked them a question about credit cards and if they desire to Audit the card user they are allowed to do that by all means .. Read moreI had been coming to best bagel regularly for over a year now, however unfortunately will not be returning after my experience today.
My coworkers and I put in a group lunch order online which we pretty regularly do. When my colleague went to pick up the order she was told that they did not have the order so she called us at the office because we ordered on someone else’s card & she didn’t have the receipt on her. We sent her the receipt to show the store manager. Unfortunately, one of the managers started yelling at my colleague accusing her of scamming best bagel, and stating they had video evidence of her trying to scam best bagel in the past. The employee made my colleague leave the business without our orders and my colleague left in tears feeling so embarrassed and shaken up by how she had been spoken to and publicly humiliated.
When we heard what happened my other coworker and I who had been going to best bagel for years went over hoping to clear up the confusion and having good faith that this was all a misunderstanding the manager would own up to. Sadly she did not and even when being presented with proof of the order, & information that the accused individual had never been in that store before and was not from the area she doubled down and defended how she handled the situation. She even had called the police department but was informed this was not a criminal matter.
Although I loved eating these bagels I won’t be able to return after seeing how they treated my colleague, and their lack of willingness to own up to their mistreatment of a paying customer and mistake.
I am sorry to hear someone is scamming them, though think they should be really careful about accusing other people especially in a publicly humiliating way. I have been a loyal customer of Bagel world (where they got all their recipes from)and now BEst bagle for over 20 years! My 2 star review is because of service. Since the restaurant changed owners their drive thru has been terrible! Prices have gone way up which under the circumstances I can understand prices going up a little. the last 4x we have gone through the drive thru our order has been wrong when we got home! This last time I asked the woman to confirm what we ordered she did she showed me the slip and acted like I was being an A** for even questioning. Then we drove 15 minutes down the road my husband went to eat his and they were both wrong again! I went back to get a refund and was met with hostility because the woman claimed the person making the food did not speak English well but she typed it in right. That's fine if you need help with a 2nd language but if you know that they have trouble, someone should be checking the orders before they go out! BUYERS BEWARE AND JUST CHECK YOUR DRIVE THRU ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE PROPERTY.
My hope with this review is that the owners will read and please, please, please fix this issue. I want to give you business, and I love your bagels but certain members of the staff need to be re trained how to act with customers and accuracy checks need to be in place.
