Terrible service and small portion sizes for the price. We had to ask the server 3 or 4 times to bring items such as water and utensils to eat our food. We decided not to leave a tip because we had such a bad experience (I have never not left a tip at a restaurant before) and when the server came to get my debit card and receipt, she stared at it and then looked at my boyfriend (assuming that he was the one paying) and said, "Tip??" I started to explain the reason why I didn't leave a tip and she rolled her eyes and stormed off. I also realized when we got home that my boyfriend had been charged twice for two drinks he paid for at the bar. After several weeks of leaving voicemails and trying to get in contact with the manager, I finally got him on the phone and he was just as rude as his employees. I asked why no one had returned my voicemails and his response was, "Uhh well we never check our voicemail." He talked down to me and never once apologized for the terrible service we received, but he was not shy about implying that I was mistaken by thinking we had been charged twice for the drinks. He said he would look into it and call me back, but that was over three months ago and I haven't heard anything. Now when I try to call, it either goes straight to voicemail or no one answers. Moral of the story: Do not waste...
Read moreVery tasty food with a huge selection of different/original sushi items. Unfortunately, there is a long way to go for the experience to match the food. We were there as a couple and were sat for teppanyaki with another couple. Unfortunately the guy in that pair was way, WAY over-served (possibly 'pre-gaming'?). Clearly stumbling and drunk they still served the dude a beer (liability much?) It was a bit too much for her to handle and they started bickering at the flat top. It was my wife and I, and these two. Talk about a messed up experience. After the argument they ended up leaving before actually ordering. He was an embarrassment. I bring it up only as a point that the restaurant did nothing to remove him. They just ignored it and sat passively aside while it happened. Did nothing about the belligerence, stumbling, wandering the restaurant ... He was literally walking and wandering behind the bar alone... This was a clear case of a blind eye turned and a 'not my problem' from the management. Hopefully this can get addressed by staff and prepare for drunken disorderly conduct so others don't...
Read moreI called ahead to ask if they had room for a large party at a hibachi station. They told me if we arrived within 20 minutes they would seat us. When we got there they brought us to the hibachi table and the server told us we had to order quickly because there would be a lot of other parties there tonight. We found that incredibly rude and it was also during the week at 5:15. The place was not busy at all - maybe 2 other parties at hibachi. That totally threw off the vibe for the evening. We read the menu and ordered several hibachi meals plus sushi rolls. On the menu it says fried rice comes with hibachi and it’s a $2 up charge for noodles. Most of us ordered noodles. We were charged $6 for fried rice and then some of us were charged $2 for noodles while others were charged $6 for the noodles. Our bill was $400. We paid it and left but we were not happy with our experience and the food was mediocre at best. To add to it, no other parties came into the hibachi area the entire time we were there so I am not sure why we were specifically asked to rush. We will not...
