Every year my family and I take a trip to the beaches around this area. We routinely would stop here to grab a bite to eat as it was our grandmothers favorite. This year has been rough as our grandmother recently past. We decided to take the trip here to commemorate that. It started bad, having to wait 20 minutes for a table despite there being at least 7 open seating arrangements in the line of sight (yes I counted). But once we were seated and began to order our server (who shall not be named) gave my cousin a very hard time. My younger cousin age 15, wished to order two kids pasta. The second pasta due to the fact the Red Sox won prior to our trip making the meal free. Anyways, he ordered the pasta as that’s what my grandmother would order when she came here, so again a commemorative type gesture. Our server proceeded to shut him down immediately before he could even finish his order. Stating he “cant give him the kids meals due to him being too old.” Which honestly came as a surprise to us. As like I previously mentioned before, our grandmother, who was about as old as a senile tortoise on its death bed was able to order and indulge in the lovely kids pasta. Yet my cousin, who is maybe 3-5 years over the age limit really couldn’t receive this delicacy? As I type this review the poor little guy is crying, crapping, and peeing all over the stall in the mens restroom. And has made a very unsettling scene. He has a slight form of autism and it’s hard for him to communicate with others but he mustered the courage to place the order for himself. Being shut down so impolitely caused him to spiral out of control and really let loose on that poor bathroom. We did not pack the adult diapers either so it will be a very risky ride home. We will not be returning the this establishment until we get word that we can receive meals from...
Read moreI've been coming to this location for over two decades for dine in and takeout/ cutbside and the food is usually pretty great for what it is and typically no issues with service or anything but after tonight I do not think ill be returning here any time soon, if I do return i will just do pick up with little to no tip and come inside myself from the start I guess
I pulled in about 5 mins prior to my curbside pickup time the person handling those orders was already outside and they kept going back and forth between me and the other people there, asked for my name like 3 times and was told theyd be right back and to pull up near the ramp to the entrance. pulled over there and watched almost a dozen people walk and drive by my car awkwardly, finally saw the person start to come back out with a bag then stop at the door as another employee was walking in for their shift I assume and then they turned around and both went back inside
after about 30+ mins total watching several other people park/ go inside and come back with their orders and more people/ cars going by my car, I pulled back into one of the parking spots went inside and the same person asked how can I help you. I asked if my order was ready and that ive been waiting outside for 30 mins. it was the only order sitting there, I asked if it had been ready and was told it just came out which I doubted but the food was still hot so I couldnt really argue that there, but by the time I got home atleast my food was soggy and had to be reheated but not really great still even after that, especially for a $100 total order with $15+ tip is a bit ridiculous in my opinion, I almost just asked for a refund there and swung by McDonald's or somewhere else instead but it all wasnt just for me, kinda wish I...
Read moreIt was Mon the 14th @ 5:35p-6:50p. There were 5 and a 1/2 of us ladies there to celebrate my Mom's 83rd Birthday with a surprise dinner there because she loves that 99. It wasn't busy when we walked in and waited to be seated. Well she sat us in 1 booth at the end of the bar(rt.1 side), 6 people to a small booth, seriously? We were uncomfortable in that booth being arm to arm, the only one sitting at the booth comfortably was the 6yr old so her size was perfect but us 5 grown adults are not the size of a 6yr old and that caused embarrassment for two of us. The kids meal was free cuz Sox's won, but next time the server should warn the plate is kinda hot when she brought it I'm glad I grabbed the plate before my kid did and for the kiddos try not giving them steaming hot Mac&Chz, and try to remember the sides especially when asked 3xs for the cole slaw that went with the Wrap&Fries. Pre-busing the table is a must especially when we have no room at the little table for us as it is. Ask us how we would like the check, we wanted separate checks. 1 little kid's scope of vanilla ice cream in a bowl covered with whipped cream and a lit candle for a birthday was sad, lol just saying like no more singing or clapping, anything Happy Birthday from staff?, hmmm ok so it's just the server dropping off the bowl. The food of mine and the birthday lady and the 6yr old was...
