My experience at the Starbucks was actually okay but it was so severely impacted by the terrible quality of the cup and lid. I feel this needs to be raised until it's resolved. Brian Niccol are you listening?
I think the new CEO needs to fire whoever designed the new cups and lids. Does the project lead on this actually hate coffee and hate coffee drinkers? That's the only conclusion I can draw from trying to drink from this cup. My hands are burned from the heat transfer. It's such a common thing that they actually put two sleeves on the cups without even asking if you needed. The cup is just too thin.
And my mouth is burnt from the coffee spilling all over the place. Seriously, how could this even pass quality control? It's as though Starbucks is trying to limit the amount of waste they create by driving customers to other businesses to get their coffee.
And walking with this cup and lid. Coffee is spilling everywhere including onto my hands.
I know it's an airport and it's pricier, but at $5 for a grande drip with all this additional nonsense, I feel like I've...
Read moreI ordered a Turkey/provolone/pesto sandwich but I completely forgot to grab my wallet. I had just gotten off a 6 hour flight where a child screamed the whole time so safe to say my brain was a bit gone. My husband was holding my bag when I ordered. I had to go run and get my wallet (which took like 20 seconds) but the girl seemed extremely inconvenienced, even though nobody was behind me. Well, order came out and it was completely wrong. I waited to see if it was someone else’s…nope. I didn’t want to tell them they made the incorrect sandwich so I said screw it. When I say this thing had basically nothing inside…I mean it. I think it was meant to be a pesto/mozzarella/roasted tomato sandwich…it was basically just bread and some pesto. Very disappointing. 98% sure they did this out of spite. Mind you,...
Read moreThis is for the Main Terminal at Sea-Tac.
There is more than one location at Sea-Tac, one at the Main Terminal and one near Gate A4 (which also has a bathroom).
They are pretty friendly and fast for being 4a in the morning and having to service a full line of people at the main gate "needing" their fix.
We got 2 double-cupped grande Veranda's drip coffees, one with oak milk and a Spindrift bubbly water. They got the order correct and even put an additional sleeve on both coffees.
Pro Tip: Get the drip coffee double-cupped to keep the lid from warping and popping off, and to have the 2nd cup as backup if the lid does leak.
Midas 5-stars for the UW reusable water bottles they sell up front and for the friendly service at an...
