Dropping to two stars, sadly. The prices remain high but portion sizes have shrunk dramatically. I legitimately thought they brought me a kid's order of chicken tenders. They were about the length of my pointer finger the length and barely as wide. The price? $18.90. Photo attached.
Really simple, hockey themed decore with comfortable swivel chairs. Feels very open. Well lit. Not a lot of seating near the windows that over look the rinks, unfortunately. They have a spacious outdoor patio as well, but it was closed due to weather.
Staff were incredibly friendly and very patient with our family. They served us quickly and came back to check in regularly with drink refills. And the gentleman who sat us was really kind and followed up as we left to thank us for coming in and make sure everything was good.

Now to the food. My son loved the clam chowder, and my other kiddo really enjoyed the kid's burger. My wife also enjoyed the wedge salad. My Big Rig Burger was tasty and filling. The only disappointment was the poutine. The gravy was really thin and lacking flavor, so the fries were really soggy. The cheese curds were delicious but I only had six in my dish. In general, the fries for both burgers and poutine we had were a bit over cooked.
Prices are a bit high for the amount of food you get. Would love to see the burgers come with a small side salad, for example, and kids meal with some fresh fruit.
For their second day being open, I think they've done a good job and look forward to seeing them grow...

My visits were during a 3-day hockey tournament, so my experience may be slightly different than the norm.
The decor within 32 Bar & Grill is incredible, packed with tons of hockey and Kraken inspired wall and ceiling coverings.
The bar is well equipped with what seems like miles of liquor as well as two draft towers with eight beers on draft! I'd say this place is well stocked!
The 32 Bar & Grill was packed every night, and day, during the tournament with almost all seats in the house taken, so finding a seat was pretty tough.
Unfortunately, for the majority of the tournament the bar wasn't prepared for the drinking crowd. The crowd was fighting tooth and nail to get a drink from the bar.
At one time, with no one sitting at the bar, I grabbed a seat hoping to grab a pint before the next game. The bartender told me he wouldn't be able to get to me because of the queue in the well. It wasn't the end of the world but it was a bit disappointing.
I will say though, once you got a table, the servers did a great job! They all were very attentive even thought they were outnumbered.
Oh ya, alcohol isn't allowed outside 32 Bar & Gril, so you can't take it down by the ice to watch the games, gotta drink it in the bar. Oh well.
Overall the venue's got a great atmosphere overlooking two sheets of ice, one being the Kraken practice sheet,...
Read moreStopped in after work with a friend...beautiful facility. Ordered one of their signature cocktails, but they were out of ginger beer, so had a rum and Pepsi. Cocktail was OK. Food was horrible. We ordered pretzel appetizer, wedge salad, poutine, and fish & chips. All 4 items arrived at once. Three tiny pretzel knots with mustard and cheese dip for $12. Cheese dip was separated and gloopy and wouldn't stick to the pretzel. Poutine--all I can say is "yuk!" Over-salted gravy from a can. Could barely find a cheese curd. Wedge salad was OK, not great. Fish was very greasy like the oil wasn't hot enough. I was surprised that the coleslaw was as good as it was--looked unappealing, but actually had a nice kick, with what I think was a hot pepper.
Service was poor. Server seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than serving us. I'm so disappointed as I live in the neighborhood and was excited about being able to walk down, and watch some hockey or skaters, over a few cocktails and decent eats. Management should take a walk down to the Watershed a few blocks south and see how food, beverage, and service...
