Mango Sticky Rice 🥭🍚 in Seattle

Never been to a Vegan restaurant, cause my husband is a " meat" person, but he surprised me with a suggestion that he would like to try this high score restaurant. Totally agree his pick, Thai Vegan dishes are so good, especially the curry and Thai seasoning adds colour n nice flavor to vegetables and tofu. They even make use of different texture tofu in green curry n pad thai. Slightly smoky flavour in Pad See Ew highlighted this simple dish. The sauce give a soul to veggie rolls. Actually we did come a few days after our first try. We love the vibe here.

I got takeout here one night when I wasn’t feeling well and really needed green curry. I can confidently say I will order from here again! The curry seemed so fresh and all the veggies were the perfect texture. The most refreshing thing was that it was actually quite spicy (imo rare among some other Thai places in Seattle), which I really enjoyed but if you have a lower spice tolerance I recommend asking if they can lower the spice level. I also got the fresh rolls and they were nice too, came with 2 different sauces. Excellent service and really cute vibe.

This place opened up where Jhan Jay used to be (also a previous vegetarian/vegan friendly thai restaurant). Having tried it a few times, staff are quite friendly and accommodating with modifications, and the taste is pretty good too. The tom yum soup is pretty light, almost too light.

Spice level is low, you have to make sure to ask for it quite spicy for it to be a medium spice. Overall a good replacement for the previous thai restaurant here, but not quite as good. Would recommend for the dietary options, but if you’re not working with diet restrictions, there’s plenty of other options along 45th

Update: 4 months later and the spice level needs to be respected. Ordered a 2 star Crazy Noodle and it was definitely what I would call quite spicy, more than I expected for a 2 star. Tom Yum Soup is definitely more flavorful as well. The food is improved significantly from when they first opened up.

Papaya salad is still a bit light on...

This place is delicious, and I am so happy that this new restaurant has joined the neighborhood. I was a longtime fan of the previous Thai restaurant here, and I think 45th St Vegetarian Thai may be even better. The Kao Soi was the first dish I tried and it's been hard to get myself to order anything else since that was so good and flavorful. But every other dish I have ordered has also been delicious. 45th St Vegetarian Thai has much more extensive menu offerings than your average Thai restaurant, so it is fun to explore the variety.

I think Seattle has three top-tier vegetarian Thai restaurants: Araya's, Kati Vegan Thai, and now 45th Vegetarian Thai. And this may be...

OMG! The Pad Thai was delicious. Heat 2, could've asked for 3, maybe 4. Ihad it with the vegetarian meat, it was insane, truly. I eat meat all the time and was blown away by both the texture as well as flavor. I think they're lying( just kidding). It's made from mushrooms. We also had the Pad Kee Mao. Very different flavor but very good. We started with the Hed Kem Thong Tod (fried enoki mushroom. Very good, fried, which makes almost everything tasty. Had a nice bit of chewiness to it. The service and the staff was impeccable. We also try to treat them with dignity, which helps. Will...
