Other than candy this store has nothing you need, and is mostly filled with stuff you'd never think about like underpants for squirrels, rubber fish galore, and a very respectable fake mustache section. There are a lot of things that can fairly be called general Halloween accessories and gag gifts- speaking of gagging how about lollipops with real worms and scorpions in them? I bought the Love Gun and brain flavored zombie mints, and they both more than paid for themselves the first time I used them- the mints theoretically could have saved my life (depending on zombie availability). I almost bought a boxing nun and rabbi but didn’t like having to reach up their gowns to stimulate their urge to fight. The store is well lit (no shame here) and very well organized; they even keep mystery bags near the front door in case you just want a discrete quick fix in a brown paper bag with a giant question mark on it. This place has everything needed to bring silliness to humanity, and even a working photo booth to capture the moment your inner...

Yes, it's the Original and One and Only Archie McPhee. (Well, original if you forget that it's been relocated twice over a couple of decades. This is the ultimate novelty store and they manufacture many of the novelties you'll find at other stores. The store itself is more than what you see on the Archie McPhee website and catalogs. They have an area which is sort of random industrial items (beakers, body protection suits, biohazard disposal bags, etc.) This store is also home to the Rubber Chicken Museum -- at the rear of the store -- and be sure and have your picture taken with the world's largest rubber chicken. A great place to find an oddball action figure (e.g., crazy cat lady), crime scene tape, and bizarre candy and gum (this year's holiday item we grabbed was Mac n' Cheese flavored candy canes. If you haven't been to Archie McPhee, get there the next time...

Do you like strange oddities, awesome gifts, freaky items, themed doodads, quirky pranks, and rubber chickens? Well this place is for YOU!! Archie McPhee's meets all those needs and more. With an endless selection of oddities and unique gifts, you can spend hours in here and never get bored. The staff are helpful, and if you are unable to decide WHAT you're looking for, they can cater your search for you. Anytime it is someone's birthday or when Christmas time rolls around, this is the first place I stop. Bring your kids too! They have a the largest rubber chicken you have ever seen, and a terrifying monster... Don't forget the "glowing museum" inside as well! This place is loads of fun, and I will gladly spend my money here! Definitely will bring out your inner child by shopping here. Its a must stop shop, and fun for all ages! Keep being weird and quirky...

As a traveler from New York, I first stumbled into Archie McPhee’s back in the 1990s, and I never forgot it. On a recent trip to Seattle, I had to bring my daughter and share the experience. I’m thrilled to report that it's just as delightfully weird and wonderful as I remember. This place is a shrine to all things absurd: from miniature rubber duckies to cryptid-themed curiosities, fake mustaches, and the ever-iconic rubber chickens. The sense of humor here is perfectly off-beat/equal parts prankster and pop-culture oddball. I picked up some fake poo to sneak onto the toilet seat at home. It’s not just a store—it’s an experience. Archie McPhee’s is one of those rare places that doesn’t take itself too seriously and reminds you how fun it is to be a little silly. So glad it’s still around after all these years. Never change!

Funny store selling a bunch of stuff I never knew I needed in life. I was stressing out for finals and the rubber chicken saved me. The best tourist attraction in Seattle. Something that squeaks and annoying to other people really made me as if there's nothing wrong in this cruel world. With the rubber chicken, I feel as though I'm at the top of the world and regained my confidence for my studies. Stressing out? Go here after school and discover exactly what you need to overcome your stress!

A MUST VISIT while in Seattle. If your not sure, they have their own Parking Lot. Hubby and I had a few laughs and bought a few little things. Customer Service: 5 Stars, Friendly Parking: 5 Stars, no street or garage parking or paid parking. Store Items: Over 10,000 different items. Museum: 5 Stars, because the store makes me laugh. Rubber Chicken Museum is more like a Wall of Items, NOT big. It could have more history in it. Prices: 4.5 Stars, a few items were overpriced.
