These are the BEST yeast donuts around! This place is truly a gem! These are literally the only yeast donuts I like out of every place I've tried so far. I actually thought I didn't like yeast donuts before I tried a Hennepin donut.
These donuts are light, airy and have a good chew. You can tell they fry these donuts in quality oil because they don't have any of that nasty fryer oil taste that is so prevalent in other donuts. The flavors are absolutely delightful and creative. Every part of the donut tastes home made with real ingredients. None of that artificial flavor nonsense. The whiskey caramel glaze had a nice strong whiskey taste! The chinese plum jam was amazing! I appreciate that they didn't over sweeten the sour plum flavor to compensate for the sourness. The flavor and sourness was soooo good! I'm not a fan of cake donuts but the one they had was well made! It took me by surprise that I liked it.
They are freshly fried and warm when we picked them up. We arrived very late and was surprised that the donuts were still warm. The people there are so friendly and nice! It blows my mind that you can get such incredible donuts...

The donuts are warm and crispy then. And plan to eat them right there - there are a few benches nearby - or in your car. They are made to order and taste the best then. Reheating hasn’t worked well for me. So proud of the what they are doing and feel lucky to be in the...
Read moreOMG!!! This is how donuts should be. Part of me would love to gatekeep this secret and say they were OK, but that would be a lie. These donuts are by far the best donuts in the pudget sound area.
Yes we've had flour box, general porpoise, doce, family donuts and Tyler's and these are in a category of their own. Unique flavors and constantly changing menu make this a must visit every week.
The other thing is how reasonably prices these little donuts are. At $3/donut it's a steal for seattle. The kicker of why these are the best is that they are made to order. Which makes them yeasty, hot inside with just enough crisp on the outside.
Do yourself a favor and head here before it explodes with lines, wait times or the inevitable sold out issues of the great food establishments...
