Horrible and disgusted experience here everyone. I would rather dine inside the arco gas station down the street than ever come here again. As soon as my family set foot inside the restaurant. We were greeted by the most rudest waiter I've ever seen. He immediately gave us an attitude and the way he spoke to us made us very uncomfortable. Additionally, while taking our orders he was rushing me. I felt pressured and decided to randomly choose the first thing that my eyes locked on. While waiting for our meals to arrive we watched our waiter walking around asking how other tables were doing and checking on them as we were tucked away in a corner. I quickly realized we stood out because our party was Vietnamese and everyone else weren't. I felt disappointed and was hopeful that they would of been more welcoming. When my food arrive I thought I was paying for a happy meal. I ordered rice with pork chop and a fried egg. Normally when I ordered this same item someplace else I would not be able to finish it and Togo the rest home. If anyone is planning to order the same dish. Please request for the adult size menu. Water was not refilled. I am glad I brought my hydro flask with me because this restaurant didn't bother to care enough to ask if I need more water. I truly hate writing bad reviews.. Especially for my people. But, I hope this review shines a light here. I would love to support local businesses but my family and I will be taking our business else where. We will never ever order anything from this...
Read morei haven't been inside myself, but my partner has brought home take out from this place twice. it's worthy of review. my partner loves banh mi, and raves wholeheartedly that this is the best he's had in seattle, having lived here for 20 years and partaken of banh mi in belltown, fremont, u- dist, central... on and on. he oomphs and ahs so much when eating pho aroma's fare that it dawned on me: in 10 years of cooking for him almost every night, my fare has never elicited a response like that! as a vegetarian, i have to say this place knows tofu so many different ways!! different textures, different flavors- exciting!!! ... it's reasonably priced, independent & locally owned, very, very tasty and well made/good presentation, even on takeout! i am a very happy consumer. *but y'all...
Read moreAbsolutely best tofu banh mi I've ever had in Seattle, and I go to about 4 different new banh mi shops every few months. I want to keep this spot all to myself, but I have to share with the world how amazing the service and food is here. I've been eating these beloved sandwiches since I was 14 years old. I've tried so many, but I cannot even tell you how good THEIR sandwiches are. You have to try them for yourself!!
The tofu was marinated to absolute perfection, buttery, smoky and delicious. The sandwich was hot and the atmosphere in the shop was authentic. I was met with a big statue of Buddha, which also reminded me of my childhood, at the order counter. They were very nice and I will definitely be...
