Walked in to get the 5.99 mix n match carry out deal. Had some issues with the app loading on my phone, so just decided to walk in. They told me that deal was only online and directed me to a kiosk. After I built the order, it wouldn't let me check out. The the employee came to help, and couldn't figure it out. So then they brought another employee over, and he didn't know either, and suggested I start over and try again. So I did that, and rebuilt the order again, and had the same problem. So that employee went and got the 'manager', (white guy named Jeff, I think) and he told me that he could only give me the same deal for $3 extra (we'd gotten three items). I told him I didn't want to pay extra because their kiosk didn't work. He refused to help in any way, and seemed completely disinterested in my business. I felt very frustrated. It's not about the $3. It's about the customer service, and he didn't have any. Very rude, and surprising. I've worked in the Restaurant industry for 20 years as a manager and district manager, and was very shocked at how he handled this situation. There are SO many ways he could have made this right, but chose not to... we ended up leaving and went somewhere else. We've lived in this neighborhood a year now and every other time we order, something is wrong--missing ingredients, missing sodas, wrong pizza style, etc. Plus their bread bites consistently have little to no flavoring; they're dry and bland.
On our most recent order, we called to get a replacement pizza and the manager was rude and dismissive, saying we could get a free pizza next time but "only if we called," and then hung up. How would they remember the promise they just made? I was given no evidence or guarantee that I'd get a free pizza next time, and no offer to replace my pizza now. It was a 2-ingedient pizza... not that hard. Now I'm out the dinner I was expecting, plus the delivery fees and tip. To top it off, they delivered my soda all shaken up, so it exploded everywhere when I tried to open it.
It's just not worth it to order from here anymore. They tried to get better for a while but it's clear they don't care about quality checking their orders or providing decent customer service. Read moreI don’t know what has happened to this store. They used to be great. Now they’ve been a major source of inconvenience for a few months now. First of all the website and the app say they’re open till midnight. No so. I started to tru to owner at 10:35 tonight only to have it error out. Finally got through to them on the phone and they told me They were closed. This was at 11:15 pm. Yet it’s 11:24 now and thw Website says it’s open. They can’t help me though. I guess I should be grateful they didn’t charge my card for food they never deliver. That happened three times before. Not only did I not get my food I also had ni money left to buy any because the money that dinged my account for was all I had. They did credit it back to my account but only twice and I still went hungry that night. I think from not on then 7 eleven down the street is going to get my business from not on.
