This place doesn't deserve any star but a negative rating from me for their customer service. I am a return customer because I like their drinks, however today I feel like I was treated unfairly and was lied to. I live in Kent and I don't usually go up to Seattle but today I was up there running an errand and wanted to stop by to get a Cambodian desert, also I needed to pee badly. I ask to order a Cambodian desert. The lady at the register said "no, that's not Cambodian desert that's Malay (Malaysian). I said I wanted the Cambodian desert on the menue board. She then said again "it's not Cambodian it's Malay, it's the same thing" I said ok, so why don't you just say Cambodian instead of trying to confuse me". At this point I wasn't even try to argue with her so I ordered my drink. After I paid for my drink I then asked the lady if I can use the restroom while I wait. I looked around and there's no sign that say "No Public Restroom" or nothing like that. So the lady at the registered said she don't have the code. Then I ask the lady in the back she said we lost the key. It was already a bad start then this happened, I feel like they were both lying to me and being stingy. After that I was just thinking to myself wow really...so I got my desert and walk out and said to them that I don't believe you don't have a key and I will make sure to write a review about this. Then the lady at the register change her story say "no no the key is over there but for another restroom" I just didn't want to hear it so I left. Smh...like really? My bladder is about to blow and I spend my money to support them but I can't use the bathroom? Never going there again. There's one right next door and all over every corner. You're not special anymore. Sorry...
Read moreI visited Che Dessert for the first time yesterday after my favorite spot next door was closed for Lunar New Year. Since it was the only place open, it was extremely busy and a bit hectic inside. At first, I stood in the line area, assuming that’s where orders were placed, but a kind couple directed me to the actual ordering spot—there were no signs indicating where to order, which made it a bit confusing.
The atmosphere was festive, with lanterns and vibrant red decorations everywhere. Nearly every customer was dressed in red, celebrating the holiday. I ordered the smashed young coconut dessert and asked the cashier for their most popular drink—he recommended the Rainbow, so I added that to my order. The wait was over 20 minutes due to the holiday rush, but I appreciated that they were open when most places were closed.
The smashed young coconut dessert was absolutely delicious, and I’d definitely return just for that. My husband enjoyed the Rainbow dessert—it reminded him of a Cham dessert his mom makes, which made it even more special. Despite the chaos, I’m glad I gave this place a try, and I’d...
Read moreIf you love Asian desserts, cute little mom and pop shops, and secret hole in the wall take-out that will knock your socks off, this is the place for you. My friend and I tried the Durian and Mung Bean slushy dessert drink, the yogurt and mixed fruit dessert drink, and the corn milk.
This place absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everything is so fresh, and at amazing price points.
The durian dessert had huge chunks of fresh durian. The corn milk was made unsweetened and was sweetened to taste and iced on order—super creamy and fresh, I had mine barely sweet at all. Absolutely killer. 🤌😫
The owner’s wife makes most of the sweets. Both were there, totally lovely folks. They were happy to talk about how they make the different items. Fresh desserts were cooling on a couple of flat surfaces—clearly they have a loyal following!
Can’t wait to go back and...
