Huong Duong is the kind of place that delivers variety without losing heart. The menu is huge—pho, vermicelli, stir-fry, rice plates—and somehow, they manage to do justice to it all.
Start with pho. The Deluxe Beef Pho ($14–$16) is the bowl to order if you want the full experience—rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs swimming in a broth that’s light but layered. The Sunflower Deluxe Pho is another local favorite, big on beef flavor with generous toppings.
If you want something different, the Spicy Lemongrass Noodle Soup ($14–$15) packs heat and fragrance, while the Duck Noodle Soup ($15) offers a deeper, almost gamey richness.
On the rice plate side, the Grilled Pork Chop with Rice ($14) is a winner—juicy, slightly charred, and paired with broken rice, fish sauce, and pickled veggies. For something lighter but equally satisfying, the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli Bowl ($14) hits all the textures: smoky meat, crisp herbs, crunchy peanuts.
Huong Duong is also a sleeper pick for stir-fries. The Crispy Egg Noodles ($15) come crackling under a savory gravy of vegetables and protein, while the Seafood Claypot ($18) delivers sizzling, saucy comfort.
The space is casual, the portions are hearty, and the prices are fair. It’s the kind of restaurant where families come to share, and solo diners feel just as welcome.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huong Duong Restaurant isn’t fancy—it’s a workhorse, delivering pho, rice plates, and stir-fries that feel like everyday comfort food. Come hungry and bring friends; the menu is built...
Read moreI work in Tukwila and there aren't too many decent pho restaraunts close by. While Huong Duong is a little bit of a drive from my company, it's definitely worth the trip.
It's really hard to find parking at first, usually when you do find parking it's super tight so be prepared.
Now for the restaurant: Every time I go during the week, the same guy is there. He is super friendly! The place is very clean and the play a lot of christian music in the background. The service is pretty fast, usually when I go it's with three other people and we get our food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. My favorite dishes at this place include: The Deluxe Pho & Bun Bo Hue. My co-workers always get the Chicken Pad Thai (even at a Vietnamese restaurant) and they love it!
All in all, the portions aren't the biggest and I wouldn't say this place has the BEST Pho or Bun Bo Hue. It is however, some of the best in the Tukwila/Beacon Hill area and I go here probably once a week.
Tip: Shout out to Daren D. for letting me know about this! (He left me a note and wanted to ensure everyone gets his message). From Daren: You can also park in the back street. Amin Deli customers/taxis usually...
Read moreNice little Vietnamese restaurant right across the street from the light rail station. The food here is delicious and decent portion. You could get your standard bowl of pho, vermicelli noodle dish, rice dish and many more. They also serve dishes that other vietnamese restaurants don't offer like the clay pot eggplant which I highly recommend. If you just want a light and refreshing meal try the mango salad. Would have given them 5 stars but when they are busy the food can come out a little slow. I would recommend coming if you have time to sit and enjoy. I work nearby so I come for lunch and it is usually not too bad. But when I come and the place looks packed I don't come in because even if I order to go it would leave me no time to eat it. I guess I could always call my to go order in in advance but I prefer to dine in while it is piping hot. Consider this...
