So, when I was waiting for my bus towards downtown Seattle right at the bus stop on 15th NW and 85th NW ave, I noticed there was a Dominos restaurant just right next by. It was cold, I was carrying a heavy grocery shopping bag and there were some aggressive people waiting at the bus stop as well. So, I decided to get inside of the restaurant, I politely asked a couple guys who were seated on a bench to move a little bit so I can put my heavy bag there. They were so nice about it and they even told me that it was better to wait for my bus inside with the delicious smell of pizza. I even thought to forget to cook dinner and maybe buy some pepperoni slices or a salad. The nice guys left with their pizza, and then I saw a Domino's employee looking at me, an old white man, and I told him "hey I'm sorry for being waiting for my bus here", then he answered me back this: "I'm fine with that, but I think it was pretty rude to ask the guys to move so you can put your bag, you should put it on the floor". I told him that I asked them respectfully and that they were cool about it. He insisted saying that I was rude. He walked away, and I asked another employee for that old man's name. Then, I left, so irritated forgetting about my dinner, about the pepperoni pizza, about my heavy grocery bag and the cold weather.
This seems a pretty normal situation created by old grumpy white man, but the fact behind this is that this guy called Dean is representing a company reputation, who I used to respect for their great performance for the last years. But this guy representing Domino's just decided to call me out and call me "rude", forgetting that he is on his shift and forgetting that every single person who enters to this restaurant is a potential customer, no matter what....and yes I was...the delicious pizza smell almost changes my dinner plans for tonight, but this guy DEAN maybe felt offended that a young Latino woman was "disturbing" his white clientele.
I'm just so tired of these racist microaggressions from people like Dean, and this is why I'm speaking out through every single media available.
DOMINOS should train their people better. I'm not going to buy Dominos never in my life, thanks to Dean and his...
Read moreWe went here to order something simple, a pizza with beef. We specifically asked the man taking the order to not put any pork inside. First, paying was a hassle he said it was the slow computer but when we gave him our area code for him to type it, he entered the wrong number and asked us if we’re sure it’s our zip code? Implying we don’t know it, after repeating to him the number 3 times he finally recognized he was typing the wrong numbers. Then we got home I ate 1 piece of meat, and it tasted more like fried chicken, was white, soft and fatty. It also had pepperoni inside. We returned it because we had bought there the same pizza type before and the meat was brownish, hard, taste like beef. So we told him he made a mistake, again he was very dismissive, rude, implying that was actually beef and he asked us to pay for another one. So we asked for refund instead. We asked him for no pork because of our religion, I had never ate pork in my life, and the taste I ate was very foreign to me. So the upsetting part was him not recognizing they made a mistake. It takes 1 good cook to earn a customer, which they did, and 1 bad waiter to lose one, which they also did. We’ll never go there again. It’s that guy that is bad not the place or other people we...
Read moreOrdered my pizza in person paid with the debit card and asked how long it will take. The guy says :" 30 minutes" I say okay and walk out. I come back half an hour later, and ask for my pizza upon which they say :"we are busy we have alot of orders" Then instead of telling me the approximate time when it will be done as an update because they didn't bother to put names on the clock board so you couldn't know if the order is ready or not. He suggests I cancel my order, to which I said :" thanks for the suggestions but I want an update on time" So he said he doesn't know the time and I walk out. I come back three hours later and ask for my pizza. Since they were soooooo packed I think 3 hours is decent time considering the rush was just over because of the mess in the kitchen. Don't understand why they canceled it and then accused me of not picking it up. I asked you for estimated time you weren't capable of providing one I wasn't going to wait around till you give me my pizza when...
