Okay food, TERRIBLE assistant manager. I have a service dog trained to help me with a legitimate disability. I walked in with my friend to celebrate his birthday and they informed me that they don’t allow dogs, to which I replied she is a service dog. The assistant manager demanded to see my dog’s “service dog certificate”, which is not a thing. Service dog training is as expensive as the average annual income, which most people cannot afford, so both federal and state laws allow personal training of service dogs to remove financial barriers to accessibility. I told her this, and she completely disregarded me, gave me the most disrespect I have ever experienced from a customer service worker, and proceeded to inform me that “emotional support animals are different from service dogs” while trying to ILLEGALLY force me out of her restaurant on the incorrect assumption that my dog was an emotional support animal. I tried to tell her that what she was doing was illegal but she completely disregarded me and literally just walked away from me mid-conversation then refused to speak with me or hear anything I had to say. I didn’t leave, so she caved and sat me inside with my friend and tried to tell me that “it’s fine now because I’m letting you sit inside but next time you can’t bring your dog”. Clearly, she missed the point. My dog is a service animal and by federal, state, and county law no business is allowed to demand $40,000 proof of training or deny me access to their services. I attached pictures from the king county gov website as proof of my claims, but it is also very easy to look up. Please see the attached photo taken straight from the king county website, particularly the red highlighted sections. This woman is dismissive, undereducated, and disrespectful. Someone like that should not be an assistant manager. If you have a service dog, don’t go here. You’ll have a terrible experience. Aside from that the place is pretty cramped and not very wheelchair-friendly. They don’t have accessible seating, they just kinda squish you through to a regular table and then move your wheelchair to the back of the restaurant, so, if you have any trouble getting in and out of your wheelchair this place isn’t for you.

Our first time visit, the food is really tasty and well made with with lots of flavor unfortunately customer service can be improved. There was no host as we entered and took awhile to get seated, there was a confusion about the wait time. For Salad we ordered the Ceasar salads with hearts of romaine, great portions and enjoyed the housemate croutons. For Pizza we ordered the Margherita, love the cheeses and crust of the pizza overall delicious. The 12" in pizzas were great to share for 2 people plus a kid. And our FAVORITE was the New Casarecce with Basil Pesto Pasta! so delicious and we added chicken that made it extra tasty. The pesto was so good and not overwhelming at all, it combined well with all the ingredients in the pasta. Good portions and shared pasta with 2 people. We arrived in time for happy hour so we enjoyed the tap beers, a few IPAs and Pale Ales. For IPA try Crux Pilsner! Best time to come is Happy Hour for a good delicious lunch with good low prices. Overall delicious food here and very pretty decor, enjoyed the outdoor seating on a bright sunny day.

After a quick visit to the Apple Store in University District & exploring the market we were up for a light snack. While dropping off, our Uber driver suggested us to try Elemental wood fire pizza. So we made it a point to try them. Cozy little place, lat of families with kids, we got seated & quickly ordered a round of soups & a pizza to share. I opted for a Potato, Pork Sausage & Kale Soup, which was served with a slice of bread. In the cold weather, the soup was very comforting & was very meaty. Dipping the bread in the hot soup was heaven, slurped till the last drop of the soup. We ordered a Curry Chicken Pizza, expecting it to be of an Indian curry base, however it turned out to be a Thai curry, yellow I suppose. Nevertheless it was a good decision & we all loved it & finished it in seconds. Service was swift & friendly, we managed to get in and out in 20 mins. A great place for good food, the Lemon Shrimp linguine & Spaghetti with a large meat ball seemed very interesting, so a next visit for dinner is definitely pending.

Service was so disappointing! Reading other reviews, it seems like my experience happens often. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with my mom and sister. We were seated after a 2 minute wait at a corner booth, but once seated, no one approached us for over 15 minutes. We sat there looking around to get someone’s attention since we weren’t sure who our server was supposed to be. The servers were either chatting amongst themselves near the kitchen or serving the customers around us (who came in at the same time as us). They didn’t even acknowledge us and it seemed like they forgot us since we were in the corner booth (obstructed view). Our eyes did meet many employees, but none of them approached us, and went back to chatting away. I had to get up and tell the hostess who sat us that no one has helped up for over 15 minutes and she said she’d go check. 3 minutes later a server (who was one of the servers chatting earlier) came with waters and took our order, not even acknowledging how long it took them to finally serve us. It was obvious that we were hungry and irritated from our faces, but she acted as if nothing happened. At least come up with an excuse or something! Pretending like nothing happened made it even worst.

When the food came out, everything was just lukewarm. It seemed like the food had been sitting out for a while. We ordered two pizzas, a salad, a pasta dish, and two Italian sodas. Everything was bland, lukewarm, and difficult to finish.

The server’s name was Katherine. We usually tip at least 20% for bare minimum service. We did not tip this time because of the awful service.

Would not recommend going here because the employees seem to have little to no experience in...

My friend and I visited this restaurant to grab a bite after hearing rave reviews from others.

We weren’t very hungry and so we decided to split a pizza.

The server was very sweet at the beginning, but when she heard that we were sharing a single pizza, her demeanour changed. The pizza was served and she disappeared immediately. Absolutely no one showed up to take our subsequent orders (for drinks). We tried to get her attention but to no avail. We were forced to flag down other servers who were busy with their own tables. At the end, we failed to get her attention to get our check, so I literally had to leave our table and find the host so we could pay and leave. The whole time, we saw our server shower other tables with attention so I have no idea what was going on.

My friend and I both felt that we probably experienced this kind of service because we looked like college students and perhaps she believed, especially after we asked to split a pizza, that we wouldn’t tip. Well, I guess she manifested this, because we certainly did not do so after experiencing the abysmal service.

The pizza was not bad - pretty good. I probably wouldn’t go here...
