I'm spoiled for choice every week when my kids demand happy meals for their Friday night dinner... The Market St store, or the Holman store. It's a real Sophie's choice.
I can go down the hill and risk running out of gas while waiting in the unbelievably slow queues at the Market St store, but with reasonable confidence that the correct food will arrive at the end.
Or I can go up the hill to the Holman store and get put the entire experience in the hands of lady luck. What way will the barely motivated staff find to mess up a basic order of "two happy meals please" this week?
Maybe this time it'll just be something small and easy to recover from, like a forgotten sauce or a missing toy. Perhaps it will be something far more inconvenient, like being sentenced to the waiting bay out front, while they "just finish it up" only to be forgotten about for a solid 15 minutes before walking inside to find someone was "just about to bring it out". Or perhaps I will encounter the mysterious and spooky black hole in the 30 feet between the payment window and the collection window where orders and any paper trail related to them simply vanish into thin air - and the receipt in my hand seemingly becomes meaningless and the staff aren't really sure how I got there or why I'm expecting food. Each visit guarantees a new adventure.
The franchisees for both of these stores should get a commission from Wendy's. I hope they step...

The manager however said it in such a way had she not laughed i wouldnt have caught on,he tried to be sneaky and blend it in like it was a serious question but she obviously knows him she works with him..I gave him a firm talk about how hes the MANAGER and should be setting an example and that he shouldnt be in a line of work like that if hes going to disrespect his customers . I was mad alright..the customer next to me looked uncomfortable and i was brushed off by the manager afterwards like as if i was just another angry customer,A karen.Like wtheck?! I didn't scream and i was considerate of the loudness of my voice. Like Dude take it serious you can lose your job with stacked up complaints...whats wrong with...
Read moreI ordered the same burger the same way I have for the last 10 years (along with food for 2 other people ($30 worth of food). They got it wrong which happens and isn’t that big a deal. I took it back expecting typical no sweat exchange. The woman who was tasked with customer interaction first insisted on the receipt (though she had been the one to give me the food not 5 min earlier and I had the boxed burger with the order form on it), then insisted I was wrong and had not ordered it the way I said and refused to remake the burger, insisting I pay for another and continuing to try to argue with me. Even after pulling out my phone and offering to share my app screen and offering to show the history of ordering the same burger the same way every time, she continued to openly doubt me. I walked out and will not return. There are other places to get incorrectly prepared fast food without the...
