Greenwood P-Patch Community Gardens — Attraction in Seattle

This used to be a community garden where gardeners were respected. That was before the P-Patch honchos moved in and made it clear to the gardeners that their only role was as order takers. Led by Julie Bryan, they embarked on what can only be described as the destruction of Greenwood Patch. Bryan had every tree in the patch cut down as part of what she and her cronies called the Greenwood "redesign." The result was scorched earth--everything that made Greenwood unique destroyed.
