i’m from nyc and this is one of my favorite food spots in seattle
we frequently have them as caterers for MAPS Seattle during Ramadan or different events we have throughout the year, which is where i first heard of them, and i’ve gone out of my way to order from them myself because of how good they are this place consistently has excellent flavors in every aspect of their items - the meat is always excellently seasoned, the yogurt or tzatziki sauce they use is fresh, not overpowering (and has a delicious olive), the light salad is always quality - cut to the perfect size for each bite and perfectly seasoned, the garlic sauce they coat over their fries just HITS, the feta is magnificent (and i don’t even like feta), they grill each sandwich with love, and i love to find those cute little pickles in there. i am truly blown away by their consistent quality- that’s hard to nail for the massive event orders every time while i don’t love the prices, it’s consistent with the area, so i can’t complain. they are very sweet and hospitable- i picked up my order a little late one time and one of the employees told me to let them know 10 mins before i anticipate coming next time so that they can make it fresh max enjoyment. they’re so sweet! anyways i love them, i congratulate them on their quality and consistency, and i wholeheartedly...
Read moreSo Yummy! Definitely worth coming here if you like clean, healthy, flavorful Mediterranean (Greek/ Jordanian) food, REALLY large portions, and super friendly service. Everything is homemade here and you can truly tell from the flavors.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate and the Chicken Kabob Plate (amazing chicken) which included a large portion of moist chicken pieces over a few grilled onions, basmati rice, a side of hummus/kalamata olive, and a fresh side salad of crisp tomato/cucumber/lettuce/feta bits in a light vinaigrette + a large pita bread. Chicken was not spicy/hot, just really flavorful with herbs and spices. I only managed to eat 1/2 my plate as I needed to leave room for the 4 bite baklava desert included. Perfect leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
LOCATION: A bit of a hidden gem (hard to see from the street) tucked in a corner across from Bartells. Very clean/new interior, has 7 tables (4-tops perfect for kids too), bathroom, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating even when they had a good size order line at the 6pm rush (food took under 5 minutes to come out). Next time, I’m trying some of the vegan dishes, the sweet potato fries or the large...
Read moreIt was our first time going to this relatively new restaurant. We went inside to order. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such amazing and genuine customer service when going out to eat. You can tell they really care about their customer relationships and take pride in what they are serving. Not only was the service so impressionable but the food was also perfect! The hummus is so fresh and creamy, nothing that you could ever get in any store. All the flavors tied together so well and the rice with a touch of sweetness is absolutely authentic. I’ve noticed with similar restaurants in Seattle the meat tends to be dry and overcooked but the meat here wasn’t dry at all. So so wonderful. Baklava was flakey and delicious. 100% highly recommend and will be returning soon. Eating out is expensive these days and you want something that’s worth your money so go here! I promise you will not be...
