I gave three stars because it wasn't bad but wasn't particularly great either. I got: • regular Poke bowl with classic Tuna and all of the toppings : flavor was good, size wasn't bad and overall was decent. Not the best I've had but certainly not the worst. • Spam musabi : flavor was meh. Suggestions - don't use brown rice, it doesn't hold. The whole thing just fell apart and crumbled. I had to eat it off of a plate with chop sticks. Not the hand held food I'm used too. I'm sure you're trying to use leftover rice to make them which is smart for cost effectiveness (I come from the industry) but you need to work on keeping it to stay together. ALSO - the young man gave me the spam musabi while ringing me up and then the older woman took it away and gave me an older one. I understand using the older product first - but a tip: don't switch them once they already gave it to the customer. Just looks bad. Simply take your employee aside afterwards and explain FIFO (First in First out) to them again. • Avocado Bubble Tea with Boba : it wasn't bad. Not to much avocado flavor. My tip with this one is to make sure you shake the bubble tea if it has boba or jellies ... all other places do a quick upside down shake to dispease the jellies and boba into the drink. It just has an unappetizing look when it's a blob of black at the bottom.

Overall - the first gentleman that helped me was nice, friendly and quick. The young lady who did the toppings was fine. The young man doing the cash register was slow but I'm sure he will learn. (Tell him to change his gloves form register to smoothie making back to register).

Curious to watch what happens here, I hope you're successful and work...

Hate to give a bad review but others people should know. Food tastes great and for the most part the workers have always been nice. I live across the street so for ease I go there sometimes multiple times a week.

Today was the first day I had to walk out. Recently they have hired a young gentleman. He is not good for the company at all.

Sanitation - I’ve seen him work on a leak in the sink halfway through making my sandwich. Take the gloves off and then continue to make my sandwich without gloves. Another time he had one glove on and was shoving the ingredients into my sandwich with his ungloved hand. The next time he went to do that I asked he wear gloves.

I’ve seen him turn people away with over 30 minutes left in opening time.

The kicker - they magically don’t have the food I’ve ordered for the past year every time I go in and he’s working. I just now went in at 5pm and ordered a sandwich and he said they didn’t have the meat. Then I was like can I get a musubi, and they didn’t have that either. What’s sad was as soon as he walked out I thought, wow I’m not going to get to order.

I’m just going to leave every time I see him...

Owners seem to be very nice and were very excited for business after being closed for eight weeks. Great location as I occasionally run to Northgate/Target for errands and there aren’t many places serving poke in the area. Great indoor and outdoor seating!

I ordered a “mostly salad” poke bowl with brown rice, tuna+salmon and all sides. I thought the amount of fish was great and the ingredients tasted fresh. Unlike other poke places with 5+ protein and flavor options, they keep it simple offering tuna, shrimp, octopus, tofu and salmon and classic, spicy or ponzu dressing. I didn’t taste a lot of mayo and I appreciated that!

Poke aside, I love that they also offer banh mi (Vietnamese subs) as well as rice/vermicelli bowls and bubble tea! Their black tea has some nice vanilla undertones and I was so pleased that I could order a drink with my preferred sweetness level (1/2 the sugar). I will...

As of 2022, the sandwich is $7.75, bubble tea is $5.50. I haven’t had the Poke’ yet. My sandwich was good but the bubble tea was terrible. I ordered Thai milk tea and matcha milk tea with tapioca. The thai tea was pre-made in refrigerator. I don’t mind if it didn’t have a stenchful smell and tasted like an old overnight tea with loads of sugar. I hardly tasted the milk. The matcha was from powder, that’s common, still, not nearly delicious with barely enough milk on it. Well, if you wanted to satisfying your hunger, go for it!! But, if you wanted to a good quality food and drink, I suggested you order those them somewhere else. Services from the young man was pleasant, the older woman was not . I always gave gratuity,…nope, not a smile or thank you! I preferred to think that she had not so good day…. I hope this review helps!!

I visited this restaurant while waiting for a tire replacement. I ordered the vermicelli bowl with pork, but it was nothing special. The overall dining experience was not great, as I felt the establishment was not fully prepared or equipped for dine-in customers. The space felt a bit disorganized, and the service was lacking. While the food was edible, it did not stand out and did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this as a destination for a sit-down meal, but it may be suitable for a quick takeout option if you're in the area and in a hurry.

For a place called poke cafe their poké was not great. They don’t make each flavor of fish poké separately but just have the fish marinading in some sort of soy sauce mixture and then add your sauce at the end. Because of this the fish doesn’t taste like the desired marinade, just salty with some sauce thrown on top. The spam mash I was equally disappointing since the rice basically fell apart and the spam was pale. The Bahn mi was not bad but who would think to order the Bahn mi from a poké spot? Maybe they should just focus on Bahn mi’s??
