Ridge Pizza — Restaurant in Seattle

I've been to this spot about 3 or 4 times before for our large family birthday parties (typically about 15 or so of us) because it's a great spot to fit a lot of family in. I went with my parents yesterday to get a pizza with them. Unfortunately for me, I have a diary intolerance and have to always order a mini kids pizza for myself separately without cheese. This has always been accommodated by the wonderful staff each time i have come, until last night. The waitress named Sky said that they can only offer this to children. I told her I have done this many times in the past and she would not let me. So I said, can we order a pizza together and then on a quarter of it without cheese and she said, no we can only do half of it with no cheese. This is definitely ridiculous because my family doesn't want to eat pizza without cheese and im not going to eat a whole half pizza by myself. I have worked in a pizza joint before, and it is not hard to make a simple accommodation for your guest to stop sprinkling cheese on a quarter of a pizza versus half of it. I said "ok, ill have to order something else", and she never came back to ask if i decided on anything or seemed to care that I was just sitting there while i had to watch my parents eat pizza while I went with no food. Terrible waitress and it only would have benefited the company to have another item on their bill which would have probably been another $8-10 or so. I get if you want to be strict on your policies but they way you go about it say "We aren't supposed to do this but we will do it for you this last one time but in the future, we will not be able to do this for you" so I can at least EAT!

Definitely will take our business and family pizza party's elsewhere after this...

From the moment we came in this white man not sure what is name is, yells over saying “can I help you” and we said can we get a booth and he just pointed his finger and left so quickly… WORST part is this… me and my boyfriend both have vertical id’s still and are passed 21. Our Id’s are valid and he ran it across a machine and came back and said with an attitude “you guys need to get your real ID’s” and laughed at us in a bad way. After that we said we want to cancel our order because he has an attitude and he looked at me really bad & didn’t even try to apologize or anything. If your going to have an attitude don’t work at a bar/restaurant where you communicate with people all day long. *that’s the man pictured”. I’ve never felt so upset and...

Ridge pizza has a fun ambience that is inviting and family friendly. The noise level is not overpowering so you and your family or friends can have a nice conversation. My husband enjoyed his cider. The chop salad was a good size with fresh kale and arugula. The salami and pepperoni toppings were high quality. We had Ken's Market Combo pizza which was absolutely fantastic. The crust had excellent flavor and nice crispy texture. The toppings were delicious as well. We rounded off our meal with the spumoni ice cream. The pistachio and chocolate flavors were excellent, the cherry ice cream lacked depth in comparison to other spumoni ice creams. Our family enjoyed our meal and we will make this a regular spot...
