The two main chicken pieces I got here were the spicy chicken thigh and the regular chicken stick
Out of the two, I have to say I liked the chicken stick less It was definitely really juicy - even slightly pink at times - so that part was quite good. The issue came more with the breading for me. The skin was only lightly crispy, with a lot of softness to it - not something I usually look for in fried chicken. Additionally, it wasn't really seasoned that amazingly. While for being on a stick there was a good amount of meat to it, the amount you get pales in comparison to the thigh, especially when you take into account that they're the same price
However, the chicken thigh was all-time good. There was absolutely no comparison on which I enjoyed more - in fact, the thigh here is one of my favorite pieces of fried chicken I've had in my life. Making the breading 'spicy' adds so much more flavor it's unreal. While it isn't actually that spicy - especially when compared to a place like Dave's Hot Chicken - just the act of adding a ton of spice-adjacent seasonings gives the breading a very strong amount of flavor. I do prefer Dave's in terms of the amount and flavor of the seasoning - as this doesn't quite have that same deep red color. Where the thigh absolutely crushed it, however, was the unbelievable amount of crunch on the outside. When I took my first bite, I was in disbelief on how crunchy the batter ended up being. Even the parts on the breading that didn't blister up ended up resulting in a super crispy skin. I don't think I can say I've had a crunchier piece of fried chicken ever. Even the meat itself is really juicy on the thigh - and more importantly - the portion is pretty large
Lastly, I got the butter mochi cake. This tasted pretty good - and I got a distinct butter flavor. While I would prefer it to be sweeter, the extra coconut dip really helped with that. The inside of the mochi was baked well and was satisfying to break apart
The price ended up being a little bit expensive (around 20 dollars for the chicken and 6 for the butter mochi). I would say the thigh was absolutely justified in terms of portion size but maybe not for the stick
Chicken Stick: 8/10 Chicken Thigh: 9.75/10 Butter Mochi: 8/10
Overall, I'll...
Read moreHeard a lot about the Chicken Supply but since they usually open in the afternoon we didn't try before. We decided to order for takeout. The chicken is really good and delicious. Even for takeout, the chicken stayed crispy. The skin/batter was flavorful and the meat itself is brined to perfection 👌 The stick, unfortunately is just mid. It was a bit soggy by the time we arrive at home. The garlic rice is OK but if you are garlic adverse, maybe don't order this. The garlic flavor is a punch in the face, not just some mild garlic fragrance. The coconut collard green is delicious but can't help but feel collard green maybe a weird choice for Filipino Laing. Maybe kale would be better? The cold pancit is probably our least favorite item we ordered. The bihon itself is not seasoned and the cherry tomatoes is too sour (it was pickled). We'll definitely be back for more chicken in the future.
PS. Depends on your preference, you may want to order the original than spicy The spiciness cones from extra pepper seasoning, instead of actually spicy batter for the chicken. We ordered original for the chicken and spicy for the stick so we...

Their strategy to sell chicken per piece for a basic size & ingredients is hilarious to me. If you're interested in paying $4 for a 10 cent drumstick, or $8 for little white meat on a stick, $7-$8 for a thigh then please be my guest. (for awareness, these businesses buy chicken by the cents and mark up prices in tens of dollars that are not always justified). I've tasted their food and it doesn't blow my mind, so I don't care for their obnoxious prices that are far from customer-friendly. Their hours are limited, very limited menu and they are always gone or not in stock. Expect to be disappointed a lot. They spend most of their money on mechandises, labor and I suspect their domain/website, so when you're paying for overpriced chicken you're paying for all of this.
The Chicken Supply seems extremely niche and frankly very expensive...
