I do not recommend consigning here, unless you want to deal with exceptionally rude staff. I dropped off 10 items, the staff picked out 6 of them but two of the items were priced too low for my liking. Okay no big deal, I asked to take back those two items per a prior agreement with one of the staff members. However, when I got there, another staff member came over and acted very offended and told me how I've wasted their time and that I'm not welcomed there and returned me everything they picked out. She was so rude and the whole comment about me wasting her time... That's literally her job... Also pretty hypocritical since Labels previously in the reviews section acknowledged that when consignors' stuff was not picked it must feel like a waste of time, but they emphasized that consignors should be mentally prepared when their stuff was not picked. I think the staff at Labels should take a leaf out of their own book and also be mentally prepared when consignors disagree with their pricing and want to take some of the stuff back.
P.S. The exceptionally rude person I dealt with is called Nicole I believe so maybe she's actually the owner lol. This happened a while ago so naturally they don't remember. I'm sharing anonymously because there's no reason why I should share my real name (what can they do to amend the situation by knowing my...
Read moreLabels Consignment in Greenwood is a hidden gem of a clothing store! This small family/women-owned business exceeds my expectations in every way. They promote sustainable fashion and do not sell fast fashion brands. The quality and the selection at Labels are delightful. It feels like my friend curated a personal shopping experience for me. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. I find great high quality unique pieces every time I stop by. You can also consignment with them (by appointment), which is perfect for decluttering your closet and earning some extra cash. I love their Instagram posts and window displays. They get new selection regularly and always have seasonally...
Read moreI've been to many (most?) of the consignment shops in Seattle and Labels is my favorite, as both a seller and a buyer! I don't even live nearby but it's worth the drive. I've sold my things on consignment here a number of times and it's always a smooth experience - you just have to plan ahead because they're in-demand and booked out. As a shopper, I find the best things here! It's the perfect mix of being well-curated while still being fairly priced for the high quality. I have bought items here from Patagonia, Everlane, Madewell, Levi's, Sorel etc. Also their instagram has the best outfit inspo :) It feels good to avoid buying brand-new and also feels good to support a female-owned...
