I went here for a day party on a Sunday with my friend. They were charging $20 each at the door to come in, & it was basically a regular bar. Nothing special or really "day party" vibes about it so i would've went to another bar for free had i known it was going to be like that. The music was good, i knew the DJ from other events/clubs. There are 2 separate bars, the one closest to the entrance only serves drinks, & the one near the DJ booth was serving food & drinks. The prices are outrageous, you would of thought we were in Miami the way they were charging $19 for an AMF, $16 for 6 wings & some fries, $30 for 2 henny shots on top of a cover charge of $20. The wait time at the bar was absurd as well, over 15 mins waiting for the bartender to give us her attention but she skipped over us several times & continued to serve people who came to the bar after us. Not many places to sit that were not reserved, the bar/"lounge" itself was fairly small. Security took the stools we were going to sit on to the outside patio for someone else to use instead which was strange. Overall 3/10 experience & would...
Read moreThe food is good. However, the atmosphere can be iffy due to the crowd. As a woman, I do not feel safe here. There are more men than women who go here, and I do feel like the male patrons are running the women off. They act as if they do not understand boundaries or NO! Everyone knows the owner. That's not a power move to get a woman to like you! Until the owner stops letting creeps in his establishment, there will continue to be a lack of women patrons. Also. Try having dinner specials. There is way too much space for the lounge to be empty on weekends even week nights! Something isn't working. That man dressed like a broke down Martin Luther King drunk in a trench coat with a 5th of vodka stumbling down the street every day keeps coming back scaring off the women with his nasty creepy behavior. Don't get me started on the other men who get mad when women turn down their advances that they think it's okay to drive around the parking lot stalking them! I won't be coming back here because I don't...
Read moreGotta come! Great variety of food. Occasionally they have a buffet so I drove down from Everett in the rain. Todays event was sponsored with food from Chop Chop of Kent. It happens last Sunday of every month. Rumba was packed for the special occasion.I felt most welcome. Organizer Kofi Tay from Chop Chop welcomed me. The Chop Chop co-owner and cashier Tierra was so welcoming. The servers Savior and Rejoice very generous. DJ Chris kept a lively mix of African fusion music. Family friendly with dancing kids. I'm going back for seconds especially fried fish, marinated eggs, noodles and beans with a smokey flavor. Warm sense of community around food and music. Come and enjoy new flavors...
