Place is great and staff is as well, the community and family/parents there not so great. Our first time going there, and our kiddo is almost 3. He’s learning and we are learning too, given that we didn’t know what we were getting into. We went for open gym time.
The parents/families there were not very supportive. Our kid and us are trying to learn to be patient and wait our turn. Learning to try to play with others but also giving space. Given the current climate of the pandemic we understand. However, our kid was just too excited and we apologize for that. But to belittle us and our kid because we were a little too excited and wanting to play with others is sad and frankly disconcerting. Unfortunately everyone there can relate, being the first time there, and being with a kid who’s learning, but instead the passive aggressive whispers and sighs of frustration… Newcomers are not welcome, and if you are be sure your kid knows how to follow rules and learns fast. If not, you will hear for yourself from the everyone else. Won’t be going again, sad to say, but the...
Read moreThe management at SGA is just lacking. Rude and dismissive front desk people. No real solution to any problems that you might bring up. Overcrowded classrooms, watching the rotations on the students on uneven bars is just daunting. On a given 2 hour session, I observed students work on 3 skills only with out any hands on correction on those struggling. Students are stuck in age inappropriate classes because there is no room in advance classes where they can progress and be challenged. With the new monthly payment system, it’s just another way to rob families while maintaining the facade of good training. Good training left with the likes of coach Bianca... what’s left is a baby sitters who can bounce on trampolines for an hour and give your children stamps at the end of it. I will be reporting this...
Read moreWill never come back here. After months of being on a waitlist, we were notified that a class had opened up for my child. That same day, I let them know we wanted to enroll. Did a class to make sure it was a fit with the teacher, let them know my child was excited about it, and were rudely told that the spot was already filled and we could go on the waitlist again. Staff was unhelpful and told me that I should have known that email is not the best way to contact them (despite their waitlist email saying "respond back to this email to enroll") They need to re-evaluate their procedures. This left me frustrated, and my child sad that she couldn't do gymnastics again. We won't be going back here. Much better places in Seattle to go, so they've lost my...
