Three of my Asian co-workers from different households agree at that Spring Roll House has the best party trays at the best prices in all of Seattle. That's a courtesy. The lady who makes and sells the spring rolls sold me six freshly cooked spring rolls. I had intended to buy a large bottle of may ploy sweet chili sauce. She sold it to me at a very good price, like 1/3 of the Safeway price. There are probably a dozen other party trays that you can order. See the pictures. The rolls cost $1 each and are usually ordered in trace of 50, 100 or more. You can also go in and buy large bags of frozen spring rolls ready to cook. It appeared that a lady had two bags which would be 200. " I said you're having a party?" "No she said they're for my kids. My kids are old enough to cook their own snacks." Before I ordered my sample she said that they are pork and shrimp. I can see the pork. Maybe the shrimp are another variety. Maybe the shrimp is mixed in and like dashi in Japanese cooking. It doesn't have to be an explicit taste. Well, the next time we have a party I know where we're going to go for party trays. In the Asian tradition my wife sends a lot of food to my workplace on holidays and I do have a birthday coming up. I could save her a lot of work and get really popular food by going to SPRING ROLL HOUSE! The spring rolls are DELICIOUS!
UPDATE 5/30/23
I called on short notice and learned, "They can be ready in ten minutes." I took 50 for $50.00 (tax included) to the office with other food to celebrate my birthday over the weekend. The shrimp and pork spring rolls are really a hit!
Update 8/25/23 My wife had a going away party at work for a supervisor. I got 60 pork spring rolls cooked to order. I had called Monday and they said call on Thursday the day before. So on Thursday I asked for them to be ready at 10:00 a.m..
Friday morning my wife said no, 10:30! About 7:30 a.m. I called spring roll house and asked if I could change the time to 10:30. They said no problem. I was a little late and the lady apologized, give me five more minutes. I didn't mind waiting for the fresh cooked pork spring rolls.
They were delicious as expected. My wife said pork only because some people have a problem with shellfish. Good judgment! We learned that it doesn't have to be 50, it can be 60. $60.
They sell varieties of bottled sauces as companions for this big rolls. I thought she was offering to sell me one, but she actually gave me a small bottle of sweet chili sauce as a couple of complementary token. What's...
Read moreThis place is great for their friend eggrolls which you can purchase frozen if you’d like. Giving a 2 star review for service because I attempted to call multiple times in advance to place an order and someone would pick up and not say anything. I had to physically go in meaning driving 20 mins into Seattle. The order I asked for also was late despite them asking if I wanted to pick up the order at a specific time. Lastly, years ago they used to offer several other main dishes like fried chicken, spring rolls,. Etc. all menus online are incorrect as they ONLY do fried egg rolls now. They said because not many people were ordering the other. They however still had old menu item on their wall that they...
Read moreThis place needs to use better quality meat. Last time I ordered two dozens egg rolls, some of the eggrolls taste terrible with a lot of fat gooey crap that was mixed in, 🤮. Like there were trying to get rid of sub par quality stuffing. The deep frying camouflaged Disgusting ingredients. But I still can taste it. I used to like this place but because of this bad experience I have not been back. I ordered usually 100 at a time for parties and bring it to my friends house as a gift or potluck contribution. No more. Would be nice to have a good quality place in...
