Sunny Teriyaki #9 — Restaurant in Seattle

I have been eating here religiously on Saturdays for the past 4 months. The Korean family who owns it is very friendly, helpful and willing to create the perfect meal for you. I was on a Whole30-type plan for over a month so I changed my standing lunch order (Chicken teriyaki lunch special w side gyoza) to Chicken Breast Teriyaki with no rice and no sauce plus a large side salad. It was SO much better then I have had anywhere in town.

Chicken Breast doesn't seem marinated like the normal teriyaki which was perfect for me, but something to keep in mind flavor-wise for people who are used to the marinated thighs shops usually serve.

Large side salad is huge & comes with almonds, raisins and orange slices.

I changed my order permanently to the order above but I have tried the yakisoba (really delicious and not all stuck together because of over cooked-gluten noodles), Gyoza (great texture and perfectly acidic sauce) & the homemade hot sauce is freakin awesome. I buy a bottle a month!

Try this place out....

Extremely rude front counter lady. She overcharged me, saying that the transaction didn’t go through the first time so she ran it a second time. A few hours later when I checked my bank account, I had been charged twice & the money had been removed from my account. When I called to discuss this with the management, the lady argued with me & told me that she “WILL NOT GIVE MONEY BACK”. After contacting the bank, they verified that I was charged twice. The lady still argues even when presenting her a bank statement showing the 2 separate charges. We will now be getting the better business bureau involved, because there’s not much else you can do about being out $11 dollars. The place is kind of gross & dirty looking inside also. I’d avoid it...

EEEEEWWWWW! DONT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is disgusting! A company I know of delivered produce to their kitchen here last week & said that the kitchen was so nasty & dirty looking, like they never clean or sweep anything. Chicken & grease everywhere! The dinning area was always dirty when it was open too so I guess it makes sense. I sure won’t be going...
