Las Adelitas Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Seattle

As others before me, I was staying at the Holiday Inn across the street. I ordered a chicken burrito to go. As I walked over the restaurant, I noticed the parking lot was full and a big heavy looking dude at the door. I felt something wasn't right. I advised him I just needed to pick up a to-go order as I realized he did not speak English. He proceeded to pat me down for weapons and then checked my I.D. Once inside, I had to show ID again. The music was so loud, from the live band and DJ, I couldn't hear the directions of where to pick up my food. Once at the bar I had to wait for someone who spoke English to retrieve my order. Never again. This place should be put out of business!!! 15 dollars for a shot and thats for any shot. A bottle of beer 8 bucks and 1 can beer 6 bucks!!!! A bucket of beer of ice with 5 beers cost 25 bucks. I order 4 freaking tacos and i was charged 28 bucks!!!!!!!! for four!!! small tacos. Stay away. Far away. I hope this place shuts down. How do others come to a place like this! How can hard working other Mexicans spend so much money on booze and food is insane! when there are other bars around that are cheaper!!!! Also there's lots of drug users in that area going to bathroom snorting. Due to it being a Mexican nightclub, be careful. some are carrying pocket knives and possibly weapons. My cousin and I came to Seattle for the funeral of an uncle... this place was right across the street from our hotel so we walked over...the food was delicious and margaritas yummy...a very nice gentleman bought us a couple of drinks and a shot of tequila... which was very kind and generous... I don't know if this place ALWAYS has karaoke or if it just happened to be the evening we were there but several people joined in the karaoke singing...
