Extremely dissatisfied with my experience here the order taker at the front desk was not writing down orders instead she was typing them in to an very ancient pos system. Because of this there were multiple things wrong with the order. I specifically asked for the chicken and broccoli combo sub the white rice for yaki soba she said OK. when I get the order there's a full side of yaki soba as an entree and then she has a normal chicken and broccoli combo with rice. The smoothie ordered came with boba which she did charge me for and I asked specifically for a smoothie without boba. The Bobawas very undercooked and extremely hard by the way this order was $58. I was extremely surprised how high the prices were for simple teriyaki combos granted she granted she did charge me for another entry which I did not order which was an entry of yaki Silva she also charged me for boba. When I asked her for an itemized receipt she was very reluctant and refused to give me my receipt. Because I wasn't gonna spend the rest of my night arguing with a senior, I if she would be so kind to remake the smoothie and she said no when she did that I asked for a complete and total refund she said the items were already prepared so there's no refunds I told her that I will not be returning and then I will write a thorough review she didn't seem to care much customer service is completely lacking. When we opened the items at home we noticed that the rice was completely overcooked very gummy which is the 1st time I've ever experienced this at any Asian restaurant unless it was porridge and that's a completely different consistency. There were 5 pieces of chicken in the chicken and broccoli and my husband said the beef teriyaki combo didn't come with any sauce how can we order teriyaki and they do not give you any sauce at all there was no sauce packets there was n sauce there was no sauce at all on the food. I will never again spend another red cent in this place especially because of the customer...
Read moreWe are Ukrainian refugees. Me and my family are very very disappointed in your place!!! Your cashier woman was so rude today, my mother and I, and my 2 little kids came to your place and bought large chicken teriyaki, my daughter loves pho, so we brought it with us from another place, we wanted to sit and eat peacefully in your place, where there is no bombing and safe. The cashier woman didn't want to give me the second fork, she said if I bought only ONE teriyaki, then I get ONLY ONE FORK. Really? You guys couldn't give TWO PLASTIC FORKS for your customers? Are you being racist or what is the problem? Then she came to our table to give the food that we just bought, she saw that my daughter - 4 years old - was going to eat her little portion of pho and she said we couldn't eat in your place. She literally kicked us out with her rudeness and such behavior! My little son - 2 years old - saw the chicken and started crying, because he wanted to eat. We bought only one portion because it's large and it's enough for me, my son and my mother, plus we couldn't afford the second portion. Your cashier didn't even give us a cup of water and took all the sauce from the table, so we couldn't use them. To be honest, your place is the only one in the US, where I was discriminated against myself and my family.
Never come...
Read moreI've been looking for a good teriyaki restaurant for a long time and finally found it in Teriyaki Madness! We had Spicy Chicken teriyaki, regular plus gyoza and chicken katsu. Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. The amount of sauce was perfect because the chicken wasn't drenched in it but nicely coated. The meals came with a small cabbage slaw type salad that had the right amount of tang and sweetness without a heavy mayo dressing. It was a good alternative to the traditional iceberg lettuce side that's usually served at teriyaki places. The katsu was crispy and not greasy. All the dinner portions were large and affordable. For a fast food joint on 45th in Wallingford, it looked newer and cleaner than other places. I wouldn't call the atmosphere cozy but it was definitely well kept up. The person taking orders at the counter on a busy Friday night was super...
