It’s my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! It’s really nice to see more places like this trying something new with the growing diverse environment. It’s off to a good start but there is definitely room for improvement. Firstly, the mint lemonade could use some more blending so that the sour, minty taste is spread throughout the drink rather than right at the bottom where it’s consumed before the drink is even half done. Secondly, sure there is Arabic writing on the menu (which I absolutely love to see) but I feel that the interior design is lacking any connection to the owner’s heritage & culture. There’s a lot of talk of this place being a “Palestinian-owned business” and I would’ve really liked to see more designs on the walls that showcase that. Like a mural(s) or large print from a photograph or even memorabilia from Palestine to give the customer a taste of identity.
