Sadly I won’t be coming back. We found a plastic wrap cut in the fried rice. The wait was 2 minutes short of an hour. For me it was just too long for subpar experience, food taste, and portion sizes. The two items were almost $42 and was just so so to me. The back corner of the building waiting is not a great experience to get my food. Someone who was shirtless was sitting in the seats near the side of the building so all the waiting customers stood by the stand to get our food and then the shirtless guy passed us with his cart full of his things.
The take out guy was nice but sadly the food felt like they cut a bag and somehow drop a corner of a cut bag into the fried rice dish. I was hoping for a good hole in the wall and late night experience of good food but finding plastic wrapper corner in my food is definitely is a far from normal seat down restaurant experience. Too expensive to be disappointed. I personally won’t come back. Best of luck to other people and hopefully they will work on streamlining their food and more proper care to food safety...
Read moreThe dumplings here are absolutely amazing! This spot may look like a little hole in the wall, but the flavors are HUGE and unforgettable. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Garden of Eden and the Golden Sunrise Shao Mai are on another level—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every bite feels like comfort food with a creative twist.
One of the coolest parts is that you can also order and enjoy your food next door at the Sea Monster, which makes it super convenient if you want to pair great food with drinks and music. It’s the kind of place that proves you don’t need a massive restaurant to deliver incredible dishes—you just need passion and flavor, and they’ve got both in spades.
Friendly service, fantastic dumplings, and a laid-back vibe that keeps you coming back for more. If you’re in the area and craving something delicious, do yourself a favor and stop by. 5...
Read moreSolid takeout spot, but poor value especially given that it's a ghost kitchen. The only dish I'd get again (of the ones I tried) are the yellow curry dumplings. These were phenomenal. Not really spicy, just a small kick - and the sauce is more of a sweet sauce, which compliments it well. So if there's one dish to get from here, get that one.
Aside from the yellow curry dumplings, we got the chicken & vegetable dumplings and cucumber spiral salad. Both were good, but nothing so special that I'd pay that much for again.
Our order took maybe 15mins to be ready. The portions were fairly small for the cost per dish ($14.50+ for 5 or 6 medium sized dumplings per entree).
There's no indoor seating, but there's some uncovered seating outside along the wall. You can go into the adjacent bar to eat though.
Overall, I'd come back occasionally for the curry dumplings, but it's too pricey for me to go...
