This small coffee shop hidden in middle of apartment buildings was hard to notice at first. Glad I found it and discovered them offering a distinctive experience with its African coffee selection and retail offerings.
African Coffee Excellence: The highlight is undoubtedly the coffee sourced from Africa. The rich, bold flavors and so many customized drinks to choose from make them unique. Recommend lazy lion if you like cloves and ginger; tiny elephant on sweeter side as it has vanilla and cardamom. I also ate a croissant which was okay in taste.
Retail Treasures: Beyond coffee, the shop has bakery treats, some breakfast food and a retail section showing artifacts and clothing.
Small Space but Cozy Ambiance: The shop's ambiance is warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for enjoying your coffee. But since the space is very small it can be good for quick takeaway or a small break.
Friendly Service: The staff's enthusiasm was amazing, usually there’s only one person running the whole show but she’s fast and friendly paying attention to all customers.for coffee and their willingness to share.
Overall, this coffee shop stands out for its dedication to African coffee excellence and the added bonus of a curated retail section. It's a haven for coffee aficionados and those seeking a cozy spot to savor a cup of...
Read moreI got the Lazy Lion here for coffee. It's rather nice for an interesting, slightly atypical coffee flavor (it has honey and ginger in it), though I do feel like I've had better coffee in the city. That said, it could just be that I didn't try their other flavors, and they also had typical flavors, too. I actually did really like their Muffin Tops here, especially the Lemon Poppyseed flavor. I definitely liked the hint of lemon in it and the glaze it came with. The final thing I got here was the Chocolate Croissant, which I thought was okay. I think the chocolate in it was fine, but the croissant was not as flaky as I wanted; it was actually kind of squishy (like, if you press into a croissant, I usually expect a crunch or flaky crumble, but this one kind of just squished in, as it press into it). That said, I don't think croissants may be this place's specialty. Overall, I'm happy to try this place again, since they seem to have a lot of coffee flavors, and I really liked their muffin tops. I also got my order from delivery so that could have affected what I got a bit (maybe it...

And i came across this cute little coffee shop, “The Burnt Coffee Company” They serve authentic African coffee. The coffee beans are imported straight from Africa, than sent to Califorina to be roasted 😉, it’s bold, crisp and full of flavor. They also serve “Seattle’s Favorites” sandwiches, Delicious… Also, they have cookies, muffin tops, oat meal and gluten free cookies as well. The vibe of this place is so relaxed and calm. Only place, I’ll buy my coffee from now on.. and you can’t forget the baristas. They are very nice and the energy they give out is so relaxed and every drink they make is perfect.
