Twilight Rainier — Restaurant in Seattle

The very first time I walked into this establishment it was a very unwelcoming experience. I left just as quick as I came. I have come back with some people who frequent this establishment to see if I'll get a different response . Their experience had been different. I can say that I am not a big fan of the hard fried fried or the stale tortilla chips that get fried hard making it hard to eat. I had to pick through the cherry tomatoes (who thought it was a good idea to put big tomatoes on nachos...) made it extremely hard to enjoy. I worked in the food industry for years and I can tell the difference in quality. Which led me to believe that the chips are stale. There's a difference between a burnt chip and a stale chip. The chips were hard. I couldn't finish half of it because it was not pleasant to eat. Hopefully the chips will get soggy enough to be someone eatable. I know that I will not order nachos...

The owner has an amazing beard and mam bun! He is quiet by nature but does warm up to you after a while. He makes his own bratwurst! So cool!! He is very humble and his dog is so chill. He likes to ski even though he denies it (allegedly). The bartender by the name of Dave is absolutely the best bartender I have come across. He is respectable, he is professional, he creates a safe space for women and makes sure that all of the patrons are safe and accounted for. Even when he is not working he talks to you like a regular person even if you were blacked out drunk the night before. Not saying that he would serve a person who shows signs of intoxication because he has no problem with cutting someone off! Dave is one of a kind. I’ve only been to this place twice and it’s been in the last month joining friends that frequent. I love this place. The ambience is so cool and unique. The other night they were vibing Cumbia music and it felt funky with a mash up of the eclectic workshop class from the 80s type of retro. I’ve been told the cocktails are great. I was sticking to Vitamin R, totally wish though that they had Tavern Beer! I ordered the chicken strips and fries. It was 13.75 and a banger deal, like they were good and those side sauces!
