Crab Stop of Sebastian - Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Sebastian

I do not even want to give the food even One star. My husband, myself and two children went there this evening.. 2l19/25. We made a reservation for a table at 6pm. The table was not ready for about 10 minutes. We were going to have a drink at the bar but the hostess told us we should wait in the front so they wouldn't forget about us. Finally seated, we ordered an appointment of calamari while we checked out the full menu. The waiter Phil was the ONLY good experience we had here. The calamari came out in the smallest bowl I've ever seen calamari served in. There were literally 2 tentacles and maybe 6 rings! For $14 . (Had to ask for sauce that was supposed to come with it) Disappointing to say the least my son and I both ordered the snow crab snack pack. Served with 1 cluster, egg, sausage and I believe half pound potatoes. I noticed I had no egg or sausage in my bowl... I mentioned it to my server and he said no worries I'll get it from the kitchen. A lady then came out after several minutes and stood over my bowl asking what the issue was. I restated that I had no sausage or egg in my bowl and that my boy has 1 very tiny piece of sausage. She then scanned my bowl pointing at potatoes saying it was sausage.. I said .nope that's potato while flipping it over. She said oh ..your egg is in his dish! So she basically wanted me to fish stuff out of my son's dish!!!?? Totally unacceptable...and she then laughed at us.... No one else was laughing. I never have been served at a restaurant and a kitchen staff tell me sorry you will need to fish out of another person's plate to get the rest of your food!! The server did return with 3 very small thinly sliced sausage for me. I reiterated how unacceptable it was to be told a portion of my food was plated in another's entree and I should get it from there...he agreed and said the kitchen staff yelled at him when he went back there. The waiter told the owner and he couldn't be bothered to come to our table. I'm in the service industry as well and I never complain but this was unacceptable. I will never go there again and will never recommend and will tell people not to bother going there. There was a 2 top sat next to us after we were seated and they got up and left bc they say there for at least 10 minutes and no server came to them. I wish I could have taken a photo but we had been out fishing all day and then the ocean and my phone died. Didn't look anything like picture... Not worth the...

I visited this establishment while vacationing in Sebastian, FL a few months ago with my family on a Saturday evening and the Derek Mack Band was playing there. I really enjoyed the band and decided to come back to Sebastian from Pittsburgh, PA and planned my trip around when the band was planning to play here again. I called today to make a reservation was told they do not take them on Saturdays and was advised by a staff member to come early to get a seat to hear the band and was not told there was a time restraint on tables. I got here at 5pm and told the hostess and our waitress we were here to hear the band. The band was suppose to start at 6pm. Unfortunately, they were having some techinical issues and didnt start playing until 7:30. We ate dinner and were drinking. Our waitress was pulled behind the bar and we had to go to the bar to get refills which was fine no problem. All of a sudden at 8pm the waitress dropped the check off on the table and walked away with no explanation. I went over to the owner and asked if we could stay at this table and continue to eat and drink. However, I was told by the owner they needed the table but he would relocate us. At that point I had spent $150. I feel the need to point out my family is white and their were African Americans sitting all around us who had been there the same amount of time as my family and some tables even longer. They were not told they had to relocate and some of them weren't eating. I spent a lot of money to fly here to come to The Crab Stop and hear the band and I got to hear 30 minutes of it. We had to leave because the owner never came back to relocate us and they needed the table. I feel that we were discriminated against for being white and made to leave. I am highly aggrevaited and upset because I spent alot of money there and planned to spend more and had to leave. I am handicapped with stents in my legs and can not stand for long periods of time. This experience has ruined my trip and will never come back. Also, I advise anyone who of any other racial background besides African American to not come here either because you just might be...

Do not come here. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. The food was horrid, me and my family ordered the seafood boils. The butter had a horrible flavor, too salty, the shrimp was chewy and dry (I had to take some from my family even though I had ordered the snow snack pack which had said it came with three jumbo shrimp, I did not receive any shrimp.) although the egg and corn was decent. We asked to sit outside, both us and another table had to move inside due to the swarm of bugs around us trying to eat. No problem as that is out of the restaurants control; my issue is that when attempting to move inside our server was no where to be found, we asked another employee if we were okay to move inside to the EMPTY restaurant and he was extremely clueless and hesitant as if it was a huge inconvenience for them. There were only three people in my party. Furthermore when the other party of two moved inside and forgot a singular item from their old table, a female employee from the bar with tattoos and a bun, used foul language and nasty expressions when speaking about the party, as if they had affected her in any way! This same woman was then very irrational and rude to a family of three who then tried to dine in this establishment. It was 8’o clock and this family had reservations with the restaurant already. The place closed at 9. She then tells them they stop seating at 8. How do you stop seating at 8 but close at 9? Change your hours if working your job is that much of an inconvenience you have to lie to potential customers. Additionally, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Please keep in mind there was NO ONE here. There were three tables including my family. There is plenty of time to be cleaning restrooms especially when you’re turning people away an hour before you close. Meanwhile your host is sitting down eating at the desk doing absolutely nothing. Our server was decent he wasn’t rude and was accommodating, no problems with him. But to the owner, please rethink your staffing choices as the other two employees I had encountered were a disgusting display for your restaurant. We will...
