This place was NOT my fave a few years ago, BUT.... Something happened. someone came in that place that cares, bc the last 4 times I have gone I have been happily satisfied. The service was good, and the ppl nice. Music is always on point, but then the food came out, and it was AWESOME for bar food. The only thing that upsets me is they took the Cuban off the menu.. It was the only thing i could eat from them some years ago, but I guess it is a good trade. That one item gone, for EVERY other thing to be 100 percent better than it was.. If you never tried the place, try it. If you haven't gone back in a while because you think it sucks, it dosnt anymore, try it again.. Thanks Hirams!!!

This was our 3rd time at the sandbar. Location is Great, however we did notice a decline in service and cleanliness. It wasn't that busy and it seemed to take longer than expected for service throughout the entire meal. Our waitress was very pleasant, just didn't see much of her and had to wave her down for most everything. How about a pressure washer... come on, tables were sticky, walls looked dirty Great place, great atmosphere, just tighten it up. They do rent pontoon boats so we will be back, Hoping for a better visit.

Captain Hiram’s is a good place to visit and experience. The atmosphere is great and the service was very nice. Our server Ernie took very good care of us. We went for my wife’s birthday celebration. Unfortunately one of our guest made us leave earlier than expected. They have a live band and the sand bar is spacious enough for kids to play. The food is ok, nothing great to brag about. I would say basic seafood and a nice outing for the family to get out and enjoy Florida.

This could have easily been a 5 star review except for Victoria your host. We decided to stay at Capt. Hiram’s resort for the weekend we were traveling for business/pleasure with our kids. When we arrived Victoria received us with a very rude tone didn’t even greet us. First thing she asked is if we had a reservation...I guess she assumed we didn’t have a reservation by the way she asked, well we did. We have 2 toddlers they are very energetic and want to run around one of them was by the menus he touched one of them. She told my husband “I can’t have people touching the menus now I have to clean everything” I’m assuming she doesn’t have kids either, we felt so bad we apologized. She’s asked us to move to the other side of the entrance and we did and she immediately sprayed disinfectant all over the menus without even taking into consideration that there was wind so she also sprayed all over us. I am a nurse and I appreciate the cleanliness and all the precautions taken but I could have made a big deal about it because disinfectants can be toxic for kids or even adults with delicate skin. We let it go because we were really hungry and there was no other place close by to eat. We sat down and were greeted by Anna who changed our entire experience by 360!!! She was nice, welcoming and cheerful towards my kids, loved the live music the staff service was stellar, food was good and everybody else except Victoria was nice to us. Thank you Anna for such an...

Horrible experience! I used to love this place and I decided to invite my husband and a friend to go there in the Happy Hour for the first time. We drove hours on the boat from Boca Raton where we live to there. When we arrived we were so excited so we ordered the first drink and for our surprise was straight cranberry juice, no vodka. So I decided to ask the waitress to add more vodka, she came back and said that to add more vodka I should pay double. I kept my drink and for my next one we asked to the shot of vodka come separated, so We could see the vodka, as everybody’s first one had NO VODKA and we did the same for the next 2 drink. When the check out came the number of the drinks were tripled. I called the waitress to say that was wrong and she told me was right and I should ask the double that would be cheaper. She never explained this before. If you want to offer a $2.50 happy hour drink don’t serve JUICE only, ask for a reasonable price. I would never go there again, even I...

This was absolutely the worst EVER. We ordered a Mai tai & a hurricane fair cocktails, they both looked the same and tasted the same, & the drinks tasted so weak or watered down, (the Mai tai should have been made strong as it was requested) then the food; the waitress brings out raw shrimp when we ordered fried shrimp, the mozzarella sticks had absolutely NO TASTE, I don't like marinara sauce but was dipping these cheese sticks in there too get some sort of flavor from them-absolutely disgusting! This has been our only visit that was very disappointing, we've been here twice before together(I've been here a few times 20+years ago) today was the absolute worst! We plan on taking the 100 mile drive over here throughout the week and look forward to it. Now I think we'll start looking for somewhere else to go, as today really was disappointing from walking in...
